But looking at it logically and given the circumstances of the occasion, dodgey at the back, last day, pressure, typical city etc etc.
I cant see it being straightforward.

Using logic? Don’t do that Sheblue! Some on here will be laughing at you

I was totally pissed off at the missed pen yesterday but i would have taken that result like a shot at half time.
That point means we don't have to worry about Southampton having one of their 0-9 scorelines. At the start of the season would we have taken having to beat Villa at home final day to win back to back titles- absolutely.
There's no disgrace drawing at West Ham, they've beaten dippers and chelsea there this season. They were also totally up for it as they had to get in the Europa by the league with being knocked out by Frankfurt. We were poor 1st half and he re-organised us and we came out a different team 2nd half. I thought Grealish was great 2nd half and i'd play him, Phil, Kev, Bernardo, Gundo and Rodders on Sunday. Hopefully Ake is fit enough to partner Laporte. 5-0 if he is, 5-1 if not.
You never know after 2 hours at Wembley and the worlds best defender being out it might be 3-2 Saints tomorrow.

Had we won on Sunday then I think psychologically the dippers would have been done. They would have rested everyone in preparation for the upcoming CL final.

As it is they still have a glimmer of hope which is all the PL needs

Might not even need to bother with this game, but... City 4 villa 1

Who cares what the dippers do? Oh, go on then, Saints 3 tramps 1.

Their booing of the English National Anthem is amazingly getting media coverage.
Lack of respect towards others causes massive issues. The booing of any National Anthem at a national event is disrespectful to everyone. There is a time, place and proper way to protest. I am not English, but I think the booing was vile. Just no class.
Particularly when Liverpool expect everyone to be respectful of their annual Hillsborough commemorations.

Perhaps the focus will show everyone what a nasty bunch they are and maybe the authorities will actually get a directive out to match officials to stop cheating on their behalf.

Read a piece earlier by a scouse fanzine editor telling us all about sitting on gold thrones telling other people how to live and that they should come and visit the foodbanks in liverpool. Dont think wankers booing are going to foodbanks if they are funding trips to wembley

Spot on.

Though they probably rob the food bank to fund trips to Wembley.

Ok it's here now, it is a final on Sunday.
Let's hope Pep doesn't start over thinking it.

City 3 vile villa .......... 2 (assuming we are going to be playing a very patched up back 4 and who is picked to lead the front line)

One thing for sure is Fernandinho can not come on until 88th minute for deserved farewell like Noble got today.

Very nearly spot on Hants
