Unprecedented Delusion...

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Unprecedented Delusion...

Postby Dimples » Sun May 22, 2022 11:24 pm

Robbed from RAWK. Enjoy

My favorite:
To be honest, although the record books won't agree with me, Liverpool are this season's champions. Finishing 21 points ahead of the next legitimate football club in second place.
I never include the sportswash vehicles in my final table.
I just like to keep things real.
.
Just by existing as a legitimate football club we have had a better season than Abu Dhabi.
.
You can see what he means though
I know it’s a bit glass half empty but it is extremely frustrating we’ve lost the title twice with 90+ points to financial cheats
.
Post: Wolves fans at the ground seem made up we didn't win the league, mot sure why they are where so bothered. Also was there a flare thrown from there end at us?
Reply: Shit club with usual songbook of Tory loving shite. Made up we didn't win the league yet they'll never win a thing. Utter vermin.
.
Cheating fecking plastic c*nts..
This title means feck all.. nobody fecking cares..
Keep buying titles Abu Dhabi.. they don't fecking mean shit..
Keep spending your human rights blood tainted billions.. you will still be plastic c*nts.. :wanker :wanker :wanker:
.
Unbelievably proud of our lads. 92 points, coming up just one short against a bunch of cheats and shocking decisions. On to Paris!
.
Ah well. I suppose a billion quid extra buys you a point. Well done, you Pep Guardiola is my idol c*nt.
.
Poster before game:
Villa. What is left to say about this amazing club? Past champions of England and Europe.
They have always been my second club. It was always the Villa score I looked for, right after the Reds.
Beautiful club, great history, great stadium, fantastic fans. Proud and loud. They certainly won’t roll over to get their tummy tickled by a bunch of money laundering cheats. Come on you Lions! Time to roar. Show them how to finish the season in style!
Same poster after game:
feck off Villa.
.
Cheats win the title again. to be honest thought we needed to win at city.
.
Coming in second to a doped up Lance Armstrong is no failure. Proud of our lads and lets go again next week.
.
We deserved more but can't do much against Manchester Cheaty.
.
Two 90+ seasons giving us 2nd place. The game’s gone.
.
Sickening too seeing all the “congratulations city” “monumental achievement” etc.
Wish someone would speak out against their blatant cheating and sportswashing, but no one will.
.
Not sure what more we can do season on season to be honest. The one title we did win was obviously under the covid cloud and celebrations weren’t seen. I’m not into curses or any of that shit, it’s just grating to go so close time after time and come out on the wrong side. We simply can’t do anymore; I just long for the day when a full Anfield sees the trophy lifted. For about half an hour I thought it was actually today, and then the typical bollocks happened. As others have said, if those pricks had won 6-0, fair enough but to be 2-0 down with 15 minutes left is a fecking difficult one to take. Yeah, they may well have various titles stripped in a few years but we’ll never have those celebrations. This team and this city deserves a proper title let off, surely one day soon it will come to pass.
.
You can beat all the teams put in front of you but there is feck all you can do about corruption and bent refs.
Whenever oil states are involved, corruption follows.
Fact of life.
.
Nothing matters. Only one thing - Tierney and Kavanagh both City fans who never gave a stonewall penalty to Everton. Then they apologised for it. That is it that is all. I always said back then that if a lot of points dropped by both and other dubious decisions I’d forget about it. But, if it came to a couple of points like it has then surely it is now a massive factor in us not winning it fairly. Right now and I know a penalty is 50/50, but Everton were at home and would have been gunning for that draw given their relegation risk, but city should be two points fewer. So its very conceivable that Everton could have scored and city should have now been on 88 with 1 game left so 91 tops and we, as we are, on 86 with two wins and a 92 clear win. It should have been that they’d still have to win their last game thus putting more pressure on it and be hoping, in reverse, for us to drop points! Those bastard two will be the only ones laughing at the end of it complete fecked up corrupted sons of mothafeckas! If it plays how expected then I’m sorry but those two are single handedly to blame! We did all we could doesnt matter we didnt beat city or spurs, city won that game completely and unequivocally unfairly.
.
Dubious goals though. I'm with Rooney on that one, there was a whiff about that game.
Like there are with more than a few of their premier league matches.
.
Hmm . . . you know I always thought Rooney didn't quite have a full set, but I'm beginning to wonder. Now I'm not saying he wasn't dropped on his head repeatedly as a baby, but it is curious.
They got dumped out of CL and within the space of about 4 days they score 10 goals in 2 games and magically turn around the goal difference deficit. And then 3 goals in the space of 5 minutes to win the title on the last day.
I'm sure it's just me being paranoid again . . .
.
So proud of this team and manager. Without them this league would be worse than Ligue 1.
Pushed the most expensively assembled squad all the way, bravo
.
Very much this! Apart from us nobody else has been within 10 points of Man City in the past five seasons. FSG and Klopp have put together almost the perfect squad within the constraints of what can be achieved legitimately (keeping in mind that our income is top 10 in the world and our transfers during Klopp's reign have a remarkable hit rate). Only a state-owned, book-fidlding 'club' have stood between us and a golden era of trophies.
Manchester United through all their glory years never had a season where they matched our points total this season, never mind the 97 points in 2019.
I try to enjoy every moment of this group and I'm still made up that Klopp committed for those extra seasons. It's not hard to imagine a future though where the Premier League is just Man City and Newcastle fighting it out and we're back in the pack scrabbling for top four (Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all about 20 points back this season, Man U over 30!). A grim thought.

Posted on the other thread, couldn't sleep last night and watched a local sports show that was talking about the local league.
At some point, the moderator, big scouse fan, started getting annoyed about what Pep said about Slippy and then started calling us Qatar. Someone corrected him, but he kept on calling us Qatar

They are dying inside haha.

It’s remarkable how the narrative has changed over the last 13/14 years or so. It’s gone from:

“Look, you’re a tinpot club and no matter how much money some random rich oil tycoon puts into your team, that’s all you’ll ever be. You can’t just throw money into a club and it becomes a success. Your club has no prestige or history, money doesn’t solve that at all.”

Fast forward to now, and the script has changed completely 180. Calls of corruption, financially duping etc. It’s totally fine though for Liverpool to outspend Leeds, Leicester, Aston Villa and probably 14 or 15 other teams in the Premier League though, right?
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Look on the positive side of things.

If the Scousers weren't so bad, how would we be able to measure how good we are?

Liverpool fans explained their booing the national
Anthem is due to Liverpool not being part of England. So with all the benefit payments and saving on prison costs we could erect a wall around the cesspit and they could play in the Liverpool league rather than the EPL what do you think?

The world series of Liverpool.

Has a nice ring to it. And they might actually win this one

I hope to fuck that City and City fans never become self entitled in any shape or form.
I know in this day and age with all the gobbing off all around us, the wall of screeching shrill self entitled mard arsed shithousery, we seem sometimes to be too meek, too prepared to let it go.
That is tricky to deal with, no point in saying otherwise. But we stand up, we are what we are because of who we are and the way we conduct ourselves.

Our club is class.

It should be noted that you cannot buy class.

I trust City fans everywhere to pass on the humility, to start from scratch every new season and to reject all and any self entitled shit that would turn us into the likes of the vermin or the rags.

We are class and that lot and their hordes of plastic hangers on and media lackeys haven't got a fucking clue of how to get that class.

Bring it on, next season is going to be epic as defending twice champions.

Agree with this .
We now have a totally new match going fan base , with a lot of younger fans . Vast majority of these lads remind me of when I was there age but modern football is totally different to how it was then . They know where city have come from and sing their hearts out and intimidate the away support in true Mancunian fashion. Raw emotion yet again at the game yesterday was something else , difficult to describe but incredible togetherness and sense of well-being just incredible. Unbelievable class football club .

I don’t understand why other clubs don’t “cheat” the way we are accused of doing. Like in F1 they all end up copying each other, why not copy football club models?

The money we originally spent 2008-2012 was the only way to catch up with the sky 4. We’re now self sufficient. More than Chelsea, way more than PSG.

The sponsorship deal was big money because of what we were going to become. Not just what we were at the time… (honestly sir)

I find it funny how they think the PL is fiddled to see us win it. Yet we say the same thing and see the corruption in many of their games. We win it inspite off the help they get.

They mention us taking drugs. How ironic?!

It’s not like they haven’t spent a fortune and don’t pay huge wages. I can’t wait for Salad and Mane to go, Firminho is already finished.
