Heysel Disaster Anniversary

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Heysel Disaster Anniversary

Postby Original Dub » Fri May 27, 2022 9:47 am

It's fucking disgraceful that the media completely ignore and pretend this awful assault and mass murder never happened.

You have to google Heysel Anniversay to find a news source that mentions it.

The fact that they have organised a fucking celebration on the day they should be acknowledging the people they killed is mind blowing.

Fucking shame on the lot of you and your "this means more" cunt of a club.

One of the victim's son had something to say about it all. Not that you'd know on any of the main stream media outlets:

Pound to a penny if the roles were reversed and we were guilty of murder, the headlines wouldn’t be about us landing in Paris , that’s for sure .

They are a fucking stain on the nation, in a way I wasn’t bothered when they booed the national anthem, I do not want to be part of the same nation as them - :

The Dippers are a major money earner for our football institutions and media and as profit is all important they have almost become untouchable and above criticism.
Maybe not simply the power of the Dippers but the bigger power of institutional and media greed.
Money before lives.

Fans call Liverpool “murderers” because of Heysel. Had there been an acceptance of their wrong-doings, this tag probably never would have picked up any momentum. “Murderers” is sung at Liverpool because their club and fans tried to wash their hands of what they had done.Apr 15, 2009

Surely they'll be made acknowledge it tomorrow by UEFA??

They were outraged when their umpteenth Hillsborough tribute this year wasn't acknowledged by some of our fans during the minute's silence at Wembley.

I think every comment online to do with that club and every comments section in the dipper media pieces should contain the word HEYSEL in caps until someone acknowledges it and addresses the reason(s) it's been brushed under the carpet.

Oil money, Arabs, sports washing....

I'll raise you murder.

They have put a statement on their web site today saying that they will commemorate on Sunday by flying all flags at half mast & this bit struck me............ "when events in Block Z of the stadium tragically led to the deaths of 39 people"

Fuckin "events"......

It also shows a picture of the (small) plaque at klanfield commemorating, not one name on it like the Hillsborough one......Why? as there isn't one English name on it and that would be show them up for what they are.

Did you read this I posted earlier, the fucking bastards were intent on trouble because of some aggro with Roma previously they were treating it as revenge when they were attacking them, shower of worthless cunts, disgrace to the nation, got English teams banned from Europe which affected the national team because of the lack of exposure to different types of football, unbelievable that it has been airbrushed from our history unbelievable

Was thinking exactly the same, in fact I went onto BBC HYS to start peppering HEYSEL in every dipper thread. None had HYS just now.
If enough start doing it it will get picked up by other fans.

They've gotten away with it for so long whilst belittling other clubs for completely insignificant shit, relatively speaking.

But it takes balls to celebrate it.

I honestly can't believe the neck of the cunts
