Rain is forcast tomorrow in München too. Should dampen the spirits. Also, The Allianz arena is way out of town and quite a walk from the nearest tram link. Perfect for managing hostilities.
It's still standing? The stadium I mean.
Read a while that became something of a vegetable fair for merchants from all over Bavaria?

Very much still standing. The Olympic park is very large indeed.

The DFB play the international games all over Germany, not just in one Stadium , like in England.
There may well be some Fans travelling from other parts of Germany. However , the game is being played on a normal working day. Most likely local fans from Munich wil make up the majority of home support.
There are plenty of Beer Kellers for the marauding hordes to get their fill of beer.

Sadly Nick, there are plenty of greedy institutions that want that money. They may not need it but they certainly want it. Maximising profit is the whole point of top level football these days. Teams competing for trophies is a mask that keeps fans involved as paying customers (me included) but the real competition takes place away from the pitch. Even at our beloved City, where alongside pitch success, our owners have created and continue to create a very successful money earning empire.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

I think idea of the nations league is a better way to fill the international calendar that with meaningless friendlies and at least the opposition is a similarly seeded country so in a way they;re better than about 70% of world cup and euros qualifiers.
Saying that thought - just having nothing and letting the players rest would be even better!

what sort of line up are we expecting from wokegate?
i'm guessing 3 centre backs, 3 right backs and 2 defensive midfielders with kane and sterling up top

The game on weekend was shite, the competition itself is shite.
The barman just asked me to explain the format of the comp to him and a few others and at the point they were thoroughly confused I just turned round and said it's nothing other than cash cow to make uefa even richer than they are, they said .... oh ok
