Fantastic, just fantastic.
If this had happened three weeks ago would RM have got Haaland?
Who cares?
Fuck em

Cucurella is one ugly bloke. His wag is beautiful.
If he is to football what his wag is to feminine beauty, we are on a winner.

FFS.... we take the piss out of scousers for their ultra white teeth, whilst we'll be known for cunty hairstyles, get all 3 down the feckin barbers pronto.

Based on what JC? If it's not your mind doing over time, please put some meat on the bones and share where you're getting this from?

We know that that both are young and exiting talents when 'let off the leash' to damage opposing defenses, I do wonder if they will be given that freedom under Pep.
Vinnie's comments a few seasons ago recounting that in Pep's 1st season Pep's strategies and game plans were so intense and complex that they initially left players confused. It took time for the penny to drop and for players to adjust to his way of playing.
Grealish's comments after Sunday's game echoed that. At Villa he had freedom to play and was hugely successful, at City he openly admits he has not yet reached the heights expected of him. His comment was very inciteful. Whether to take the chance to run at defenses or shoot balanced by Pep's insistance that we don't lose possession. Knowing when to go and when not to has been a problem for Jack.
We have regularly seen how new players have seemed to go backwards in their 1st season until the penny drops and Pep's complexities allow them to blossom and improve, often dramatically in their 2nd.
The emphasis on keeping or not losing possession might also explain why our more forward players spurn chances in front of goal in favour of a pass.
On Sunday and previously v West Ham, the 0-2 deficits in both games and the need for Cityto score ensured that we became more aggressive in front of goal creating chance, taking the risk to shoot rather than pass....the result was we became almost unstoppable.
Next season, I think a lot will depend on Haaland and Alvarez getting to grips with Pep's possession philosophy and whether Pep will allow them off the leash to take the shooting chance rather than the safer option of the pass.

Haaland is very direct has a bit of pace and hard to knock off the ball he also has something we have missed upfront under Pep …… height ! Basically the perfect fit but like you say John it doesn’t always work out like that . Alvarez looks more of an Aguero type player but more mobile , word is City have been after him for a long time so he must surely have a big future with us . We still need to replace Fernandinho or Rodri will get burn out and a quality left back a priority. Can see Grealish playing a huge part next season the same curve ball as Leroy Sane who was absolutely class in his second season.

You'll have to get her to bed first before contemplating chucking her out

Especially if Zinny stays on, and assuming cucurella comes, we don't need 3 left backs ... nothing against Walker, love him and he still has his pace and has put in some top performances, but he also has the odd pk in him and doesn't really have the range of passing that we've come to expect from our FB's.
Just thinking out loud
