Especially if Zinny stays on, and assuming cucurella comes, we don't need 3 left backs ... nothing against Walker, love him and he still has his pace and has put in some top performances, but he also has the odd pk in him and doesn't really have the range of passing that we've come to expect from our FB's.

Just thinking out loud

Walker is invaluable to the team with his unbelievable pace , he isn’t getting any younger though so we need cover so Pep can rotate that position. When Walker was injured end of this season it cost us a CL final place and almost the league it disrupted our defence that much . The situation needs sorting this summer .
Not really here

He's our Number 1 full back for me. I think he had a great season.
If he wouldn't have got injured we'd have been beating the dippers on Saturday as we'd have beaten RM far more comfortably at home and we were in no danger away until he couldn't continue.

Walker is, without doubt, our no.1 fullback. If we get the klid from brighton, then we have two very good full backs with adequate cover from Cancelo and Zinch. Neither of the latter should be anywhere near a big chumps league game and the fact that they were paired together is one of the reasons we are not currently on the piss in paris. Note i say one and not the only. We need to be giving game time to the academy full back and push Cancelo and Zinch forward in lesser PL and cup games or we will end up having to go back out and paying top dollar to replace walker

i'm not saying i want him gone, but wondering what another LB coming in will do. I see Cucurella being a starting level fullback quality-wise, especially as a barca product for Pep. Which would free up Cancelo. Walker has given us some absolutely pivotal moments this season ... same as every season.

I agree Zinny was getting torched the entire game in CL, and while he had an amazing part of our last day dramatic win, he's not a starting FB on our team.

Really just wondering out loud what this move means, for all parties involved ... i mean, it could just mean that the Zinchenko to arsenal rumours are true and we need another backup/rotation option.

Still not ideal to have our starting lb be the only real cover for Walker at RB, though I thought Stones did fine there, the game changed with him central.

Braaf joins Dortmund on a free transfer.

Odd that we've barely seen this kid, but he was labeled as the next big thing

Stinking attitude apparently. And then did fuck all on loan before getting injured.

Pedro Porro looks to be a future option given the buy-back clause

Cucurella is one ugly bloke. His wag is beautiful.
If he is to football what his wag is to feminine beauty, we are on a winner.

That would have eased the Erling transfer I can imagine. Dortmund are very determined at getting young, very promising kids and throwing them at the first team. Kudos to them. Braaf wasn't able to make it here.

Signed him on loan with an option to buy, they've exercised the option to buy.
