M.E.N. MCFC correspondent Stuart Brennan has left his job for pastures new . Was a tough ride for him initially through our last decade of success as he openly admitted he wasn’t a “city fan” . His honesty gave him huge problems with city fans who distrust the rag M.E.N. BUT I think it is fair to say he did a superb job and in particular took on the scouse media and fan base even getting death threats causing him personal issues. He was outstanding during UEFA scandal when they tried to ban us from the CL . He stood tall for MCFC at personal cost good luck to him for the future.
Not really here

Initially Brennan admitting to being a Rag. That’s why he got stick. Similar to Sam Lee except Lee seems a bit more narcissistic. Great to see he was kicked out of the after party the other week by City. Tells you all you need to know about the clubs thoughts on him.

Brennan fought our corner well though in recent years so all the best to him.

If you ever wonder about the incompetence of journalists today . Here is a direct quote from the Daily Mail's reporter Michael Rudling

writing about the seedings for the CL next season.

"Missing out on seeding means Liverpool could come up against Liverpool in the group stage. "
"Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs."

They are the only fanbase I know who would go into a Champions league final and when you ask them what score they think it will be they reply "an easy 3 or 4 nil"

At least 5 Dipper fans said that to me. So far up their own arses.....................oh how I enjoyed ripping them after the game

The parade suggested they won 4 or 5 nil

I see that man of the people James Milner has been awarded an MBE, On the Queens Jubilee honours list. Surely he will be returning it on general principle, now he resides in the People’s Republic of Miseryside, failure to do so could see his excommunication from said Republic.

The fact you can get an MBE for “services to football” shows how pathetic the whole thing is. I wonder who actually chooses the awards? Guarantee if you ask the Queen if she’s heard of Milner she wouldn’t know who he is.

Let’s not forget Jimmy Savillle was knighted.

As pointed out elsewhere, here we see both Charles and son wearing their "width, length and 25 yards under water" swimming medals.

Apologies actually Buzzer is an OBE, joining Joe Mercer - Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. An OBE is the second highest ranking Order of the British Empire award (excluding a knighthood/damehood), behind CBE but ahead of MBE. The OBE is awarded to individuals who have made major contributions at a local level, or whose work has gained a national profile. City CBEs are Denis Law & Francis Lee, MBEs have been awarded to Colin Bell, Raheem Sterling, Shaun Goater, Gary Bennett, Steph Haughton, Niall Quinn, David James, Stuart Pearce ...and not forgetting James Milner.

Bob's was an honorary knighthood, so technically not a Sir.

The thing i don't get is , people like Bob were rebellious, tried to force change after pop career was over , charity work .

Why tf would you accept some reward from a bunch of hangers on like the Royal Family ? an institution that is way past it's sell by date ? Just say no .
