Bit of a theme still at Farca, wanting players but having no cash up front. Not seen anything of de Jong, highly rated when he went there and still only 25. If we're quoting 100M for Bernie, then de Jong has to come in at half of that and Farca still dont have that kind of money up front so cannot see that happening

I reckon Bayern are still pissed off about Thiago going so cheaply and are winding scouse up.

Mane wanting out , tools down next season. Big money deal not going through .

pretty clear he doesn't fancy the swamp- who would, poor team, no CL, new unproven manager, asset stripper owners?
If he goes I reckon it's bye bye Bernardo (SUBBED IN THE VILLA DECIDER REMEMBER!)

Bernie said during the celebrations after the Villa game , when asked about not being in the CL final . "We go and try for it again" , i don't think Bernie is going anywhere . Why are the press even thinking that City players will seriously drop their income just to wear a Barca or Madrid shirt ?
They aren't well .

It's all clickbait.

City are THE club right now. We decide.

Would anyone take Bale on a deal that suits us and him. He knows how to win the CL, he is also very injury prone but as a serial CL winner could he offer that % we lack..

No.
For lots of reasons but his wages would be the main one

His injuries would be the main concern - he’s a fucking crock.

Exactly.
The team is evolving and new young players are being added.
What we see next season will be the third version of a team used by Pep - Haaland, Alveraz, Grealish and maybe Cucurella, Palmer, McAtee, etc...
Old injury prone codgers looking for a final hurray and payday do not fit the model.
Anyway how would Bale feel having to get his picture taken standing beside Grealish - not fair.

No. He has no interest in football outside of wales. An old city (kaka era) signing

The beeb gossip has Mcatee looking at a season long move to Hudders - could be a good deal for all if he gets game time

Think he would be better off staying put and training every day with the best players in English football. Getting minutes here and there and being gradually introduced. Especially if either or both of Jesus and Sterling move on

How many of our young lads have come back from a loan spell and been integrated into the first team set up? If he goes out on loan it’s to give him opportunity to shine and get a transfer elsewhere and get us extra money from a good transfer fee

I think he should stay if either or both you mention leave. Pep does not have the best history for blooding the youngsters and i don't see that changing. With the 2 strikers coming in, places up top and wide look unavailable and so having signed a deal, if he can get the experience and game time to develop further that only helps both him and us, I'd rather he did that then just be on the periphery and not used

Not a bad shout. He has them playing football. Id prefer he went to a team that plays decent footy and the premiership as well - IF he does go out on loan
