Possibly not much difference in us giving KDB 5 years at a similar age and salary

What ? Tin tin is a machine , totally different players and Salah is really good at shooting at the goalie just like Razza.

Tin tin is a modern Colin Bell. Drives the midfield . Salad sits on his arse until a ball is hoofed forward to him. Like tranny he's walking around most of
the time . Tin tin is always moving.

Not saying it was wrong to give KDB the contract he got. But he isn't without injury problems and his was a 5 year deal whereas Salah's is 3.

Obviously forwards are different to midfielders in their longevity. But Salah is still a very good forward as sharing the Golden Boot last season testifies. 3 years contract isn't outrageous and they can always sell him in 2 years. I'd have preferred him not to have signed myself

Remember Lee one Pen ? How many penalties did Salad take last season ? golden boot my asre , IF he had a golden boot , the chances he missed would have taken Scouse2 to the top of the league easily. He is lucky , a diver and in my opinion just an above average winger.

Any word on Cucurella? Can’t see anything online. I wonder if the deal has gone cold

According to F Romano fee has been agreed with Chelsea for Sterling for £45M plus £10M in add ons and that Cucurella is number one priority once the Phillips deal has been completed.

Apparently we earned £294m in prize money last season. Why do we need to wait to sell someone?

Suspect a decent chunk went to the wage bill

We have completed the Phillips deal. Medical passed yesterday. I saw one journalist saying there was no agreement on a fee for the Sterling sale.

I’ve never wanted a player to make it with us more than him. Unfortunately think it won’t be with us but he’ll have a decent career.

You aren't

Quite simply, if he has gone to Sheffield on loan its because we don't think he is at the level required and it gives him an opportunity to shine and get himself a good club to transfer to and us a decent fee when he goes

both Tommy and Harcourt Bellis looked good with the Engand U21s recently but Callum Doyle is a real standout with the U19s. Left sided CB - I can see him making it with us , helped get Sunderland promoted last season. An option if Ake if off perhaps.

C Doyle is at Sunderland again this season isn’t he? They had a two year loan option?

Edit: According to a Sunderland website he’s back at City..I was sure they had a two year loan on him!

New signings presented Sunday 10 July at West stand reception from 1pm. Phillips not mentioned because not official but I’m sure he’ll be included. Maybe Cucurella too.
