There’s one stand out legend in that photo

It’s not Jeremy Fuck this for a game of soldier’s Boatang!!

I remember we played Notts County in the cup and Boateng struggled with Lee Hughes!

He looked rapid when running for his plane back to Munich!

Seemingly Ronaldo wants out.
According to himself he loves Utd, so I thought he would hang around and help restore former glories?

Must be like going back to your first love, only to find she's put on ten stone and grown a mustache

And there's a long list of clubs dying to pay 550k a week for a 40 year old.
(Using my SKY numbers exaggeration method on the age here).

I wonder if we’ll replace Sterling if he leaves. He scored 13 goals and had 5 assists in the league last season, could Palmer do that? I doubt it for his first “proper” season, possibly long-term he can get those numbers.

Who could we bring in to do that? Talk of Gnabry or even Sanè coming back - I can’t see either tbh. Who else is out there?

But look at mahrezs low number of starts vs sterling and jesus.

We should get the goals from alvarez and haaland, with palmer chipping in.

Devils advocate though, id rather we have an adequately sized squad so we dont throw the fa cup.

Nor can I but I'd love to see Sane back here.

Sane has been rubbish at Bayern.

I would have said Alvarez is sterling’s replacement and Haaland for Jesus so the job is sorta done

Not just done but a major upgrade. We've also got Palmer
who should get more minutes this season.
With Phillips for Fern if we can get Cucurella with the Sterling money it's been a fantastic window.

Palmer is left footed and without genuine pace, also injured. He is a potential replacement for Mahrez not Raz. I think Alvarez is not a winger.

Put this in the other thread but I think Palmer will play wide right despite being left footed providing he can stay fit. Haaland and Alvarez are going to create merry fucking hell so stick KDB. Gundo, Foden, Bern, Grealish alongside without even mentiing Mahrez or Mcatee and we are scarily good

Palmer isn’t injured. He came back at the end of last season and played the final game for the EDS, scoring and playing very well.

I waa referrung to Pep's comments towards the end of the season when he was sayung he breaks down eveey couple of days and they didn't know why. Hoowfully, whatever it was is sorted and he can crack on and get involved as he does not look out of place
