I agree but think Delap & McAtee will be probably be sold unfortunately albeit with possible buy back clauses.

Mcatee no chance

I'd have said the same about Lavia. I don't think anyone of the kids, Palmer aside, can we guarantee won't be sold.

We convinced McAtee to sign a new contract a few months ago. We sell him now and that’s a massive statement to these kids that we’re trying to negotiate contracts with - don’t bother because we’ll just sell you anyway.

McAtee will either stay or be loaned out imo.

Palmer and Mcatee appear to be top of the next crop borh having game time albeit sparse last season. Looking forward to seeing them both develop and hopefully getting more minutes especially after the WC when squad depth will be tested.

Me too. I think they’ll both play the cup games this season. Delap only signed a new contract recently too. If I was him I’d be staying and learning from Haaland, even if it was only until Jan and then have a loan somewhere else until the end of the season. Would be good for his development.

Any player who has outgrown the EDS is not going to stay here to get a few minutes at the end of games and play occasional domestic cups. Unless they’re going to get some starts they’ll be moving on. That includes Delap and McAtee. Palmer looks as though he’ll get decent minutes otherwise it’s best for him to get a loan at a decent club.

Foden did. Apparently that’s Pep’s preferred method to bringing them into the first team.

With sterling and Jesus gone and no replacement in, we are relying on McAtee for minutes this season i think. I will be surprised if we loan him out as it leaves us one short if we want two players for every position.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesús has been replaced - Alvarez and Haaland more than make up for him moving on.

As for Sterling - we have enough to Fill in his spot without needing to buy anyone else .

Our LB is the only position we need to fill **** copy and paste comment…3 years and counting ****

Zinchenko to Arsenal? Presumably on the basis Cucurella comes in. Not sure why we haven’t made a bid.

Still don't get that, I hope we are not planning to give the lump of shit mendy another chance.
Bringing Cucharacha and having Zinch will calm me a lot, finally two players on each position.

Or maybe Esbrand will step up?

This I can't understand. Why selling so many players, is it 2003 again??
Zinch is an important part of the squad. He was excellent when he came on against villa in that game.
Madness to let him go with no natural left back in the club.

Apparently Zinch wants to play midfield.

My worry is though that Arsenal are talking to our players directly before coming to us, because of the Arteta link. I hate Arsenal and hope they rot. If any player goes there I wouldn’t wish them luck at all.

The current LB situation makes zero sense to me. If Zinch goes, down two LBs if that happens.
The CB position not much more. If Ake goes, down one CB if that happens.
No replacements in sight.

I wonder what is really going on and why?

Once we have won the ‘Net spend ‘ trophy from the filthy dippers we will then go back in the market and spend 200 million .

I'm I alone not worried about those players leaving us?
FFS we signed the best striker on the planet along with a rising star. Love how this media bigging up Sterling and Jesus lol.

We'll sign one more player in this transfer window and have a feeling 1 or 2 academy players will step up.

We'll sign Bellingham next season. Watch this space
