I think he may have gone out on loan again John. I’m sure I read he’s gone to Troyes.

I imagine we'll get him for something like 40m + 5m addons.

Then the media will find a way to report it as 50m+

Twitter rumours this morning Cucarella has handed in a transfer request at Brighton……..
Interesting if true as City have no intention on paying £50 million for him .

If they won't back down we need to tell them to stick it and move on to an alternative.

£20M between our valuation and Brighton's is massive, transfer request or no transfer request.
Hard to see that gap been bridged especially as the world knows we badly need a LB.
Totally confused by our stance on this, we sell Zinch before we have a replacement (weakening our bargaining position with any club) and we seem to be stockpiling cash?
There has to be a bigger picture?

I'm pretty certain he will come and I will take to him as soon as he's got a decent hair cut.

Turning into another Harry Kane saga . Paul Barber is a bigger cunt than Levi by the looks of things .

We’ve had clubs seemingly talk to our players this summer before coming to us.

Hopefully we’re doing the same to this guy. Get him nice and unsettled like Arsenal and Chelsea have done with some of ours.

If we dont get him, i think we'll look a bit foolish letting zinchenko go. Granted we'll be able to cover but we will be weaker

Still plenty of time left in the window. If we don't get cucarella, then we have time to get someone else.
We just dont want to let this string out too long.

Wilson Esbrand looked very impressive in pre-season .

Id like to see him play against scouse. No point in playing Cancelo as we know what we are getting. If the kids are ready, then play them and let's see what they've got. This kid is a fullback we are crying out for one so give him a chance to showcase his talents

Both the young fullbacks played very well considering they were up against a very good German Rags team

There is no way City are going to pay over £35 million for Cucarella so Barber and Brighton can fuck off . So we have options in Wilson - Essbrand and maybe young Rico as back up for now but it is obvious City are looking elsewhere in the market . The same scenario happend when we were looking to buy a CB a few years ago and we were held to ransom and then we signed Ruben Dias from nowhere, the rest is history. I can see this situation being repeated with the LB situation.

Yes I don’t mind if we go for plan b/c as this has worked out well in the past eg Dias
