Don’t know the names But each had to pick a player that they believed has had the best start to the season the only criteria was they could not pick Earling Haaland . The reason given is because they all would have picked him , but it came across to me that they just wanted to bring the red tops into relevance .

Just look at how 3 goals have suddenly made Gashford a certainty for the World Cup. Despite bring utter dogshit for 18 months

It's a pretty pointless award this month, if you look at the nominees and the amount of playing time they've had:

Ramsey - played 157 minutes of football
Billing - 180 mins (but subbed off in extra time in both games)
De Bruyne - 162 mins
Højbjerg - 180 mins
Iwobi - 180 mins
Rashford - 167 mins (subbed off in both games)

So, of the 6 nominees, only 2 have played 2 full games, while one hasn't even completed a full 90-minute match!
