Football Media

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The only issue i have with the article is that it includes a guesstimate 'add -ons' allowance which shouldnt be part of the equation. If the article is talking about the cost of assembling the squad then probably safe to just include purchase price of squad member plus his salary cost. So many things could be included toward the true cost of assembling a squad, manager salary, coaching staff, background staff, training facilities.

BBC NW reporting Family Man "is confident he'll clear his name" - the blatant bias of Banned Roan & his US cartel masters is utterly sickening. Ever heard this kind of 'protests innocence' reporting from them about Mendy?

he's posted an 'apology' and deleted his twitter account

surprisingly, he didn't reference:
- mental health issues
- counselling
- black lives matter
- oppression

He's exposed himself as an immature idiot who is actually obsessed with the colour of people's skin and a certain paranoia

All over media here in Spain about Nunez being a huge mistake by Klopp, apparently dippers staff are dismayed at his “ mental ability “ and general attitude issues, be interesting how this develops - :

LIGA DE CAMPEONES
El mayor error de Jürgen Klopp
El técnico fichó a Darwin Núñez por 100 millones de euros, récord en la historia del Liverpool, y ahora, tras la derrota 4-1 en Nápoles, en el club sostienen que el jugador no tiene nivel

Would be surprised if that were true tbh. Sounds like clickbait.
Liverpool will have done their due diligence before paying out £85M. Issues with attitude, ability to learn and adapt, flexibility, etc... Would have been easy to ascertain.
At the beginning of August the same media where asking who would score the most goals, Haaland or Nunez.

:) Post FSG, pre Klopp. For certain, Nunez does not pass the eye test as an £85M player.

Just tried watching SSN but was quickly overcome by their monstrous regiment of women - all of whom are auditioning for Mary Poppins it seems - and switched the TV off. What is going on?

This from Garth Crooks’ team of the week

Everything he touches at the moment seems to fly into the back of the net. His goal against Wolves at the weekend was a mishit, and much was made of his finish against Borussia Dortmund in midweek; some even dared to compare it to Johan Cruyff's goal against Brazil in 1974. It wasn't in the same class, never mind the same competition. Haaland's late winner against his old club in the Champions League, while vital in Manchester City's quest to lift the elusive European title, was a scruffy lunge in a desperate attempt to make contact with the ball. Cruyff's, on the other hand, was a brilliantly controlled side-foot volley as the player remained upright and suspended in mid-air. Admittedly, goals are goals, but some are better than others.

Laughable
By some distance the BBCs worst pundit and that is an achievement in itself
