Don't think his dad helps calm the speculation from what i've read, if he's saying his lad wants to prove himself in every league , Spanish, Italian, French etc. Great that he's in the stands supporting him, but once he's settled his dad needs to fade away

I think he only mentioned it because it was being filmed for a documentary. I don’t think he went out of his way to do an interview about it.

But I agree, once the hype has calmed he needs to make sure he doesn’t add fuel to the fire.

Other clubs and their media lackeys will jump on anything to try and unsettle him. Just dont want to gobthrow another Sane, or Bernardo, saga. You know fine well if he was not performing they stories would be about his failure a la Grealish. Where are the stories about Nunez, Sancho, etc. I guess if youre the top dog everyone wants to have a pop. Perhaps we should just see it as a compliment

Not just Sancho, but all their summer signings apart from Anthony have been crap. Zero mention of it. Nunez “needs time to settle” according to Flopp.

If ever anyone needed convincing on how the British media bias works, just look at the coverage of haaland's only easy miss in the community shield v nunez Liverpool career to date.

Am actually pleased he 'only' scored one. As a team we have always shared the goals around. It helps in keeping the opposition guessing as well.

And of course its good for our own players confidence to get on the scoresheet

I’ve seen where we went wrong with Sterling. All it needed was a little bit of punctuation

Sterling

Add a full stop

St.Erling

if Sterling was on the end of that pass yesterday , it would not have gone in - period , full stop .....

For the past two seasons we were missing lots of gilt edged goal chances. Not clinical in front of goal. This season playing with a CF would we still create goal chances? Yes we are with clinical finishing added. Therefore, our previous 1 and 2 goal results are now 3, 4 and 5.
I think this new clinical finishing will make the difference in the big games. For once, I feel confident about going to Anfield, playing knock out in CL, etc...

I know we got good money for their goalie but ffs, we should not have let that talent go.If it wasn't for him the score would have been 6 or 7..at least.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Of all the players who have come through the Academy and been sold over the past 5 years or so, he is the one I'm most disappointed to see go

Only played a handful of youth games for us as a 17yr old - "coming though" our Academy is a good description, he barely left a trace. Loaned out continuously after 2020 for 70+ apps in the bottom divisions over two years before signing for Southampton.

Would any of you have left Ederson out for him?
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Not at all. But as the cup keeper he'd have been worth a look at
