That’ll do. Now let’s watch the scouse lose the penalty shootout.

He’s terrible. There’s a reason he cost £1.36 The fact we have a kid that’s learnt our system and tactics that’s already better than Gomez but we refuse to play him over Gomez is disgraceful.

I thought, considering the team, that was a decent showing. Some may say that we conceded too many chances and our keeper pulled us out, but that’s his job and as part of the team, we beat Chelsea.

As you say, in the hat, that’s all that matters.

Young lad, first season, why would anybody have a go when he’s developing at probably the best club in the world?

The fact that Pep gives him time says all we need to know.

Also, thought Grealish and Mahrez did well tonight, in different ways. Best game for Grealish, for me, and Mahrez ran his tits off, which I’ve not seen before.

It is absolutely disgraceful. JWE must be fuming. Gomez is a mess, sad for him, but he is, JWE absolutely deserves a crack. Can't be worse than Cancelo, FFS.

wins the most idiotic post of the thread prize. JWE may turn out the best option but take a look at his performance v Grimsby last night. Sergio did well and linked really effectively with Grealish, enabling him to put in a MoM performance (Ortega apart)

This is one of those interesting points where people read things differently. From my perspective, I seen Guardiola give huge praise to Rico and set him a challenge of trying to break through the senior tanks that are ahead of him.

Lewis did really well, dropped off at times but left everything out there. So nice to see these coming through.
