There is some really appalling officiating in the Kraut game, not a good advert for the all woman team.

Japs beating Spain, thought the ball was out of play before the cross for the Jap goal, VAR ruled otherwise

I think so, the slow replay I saw showed the ball over the line before being crossed for the goal, funnily enough it has not been shown again since

Expect more VAR 'decisions'.
FIFA will not want both Spain and Germany out at such an early stage.

Thought it was out in real time, replay confirmed it but nothing seen since of that angle, only an inconclusive angle shown after that. McCoist, who must have an extra look, said he still thinks it’s out with the replay he has been shown yet VAR decides it’s in.

I may be shown as being wrong, I hope they do, but there’s been too many dodgy decisions already that aid in the drama rather than the sport.

Yep. Top level club football is way ahead of international football.
Not surprising as the top clubs can assemble the best players from each country.
As ever, follow the money.

Still waiting for the conclusive picture that it was in. Apparently Thiefa have the evidence, just taking a while to photoshop it.

No love lost for Germany but, fuck me, it’s a big call that has to be proved right.

After more than an hour no VAR evidence yet to overturn the onfield decision ball was out - the existing available pictures show all the ball is out of play.

You know me, all I want to see is a game that is officiated correctly, warts and all and I’ll accept a mistake. But this is overturning a decision with no evidence at all to back it up. I would rather see Germany out but not at the expense of integrity and against the rules of the game.

No wonder I can’t get into this WC and even though I’m trying, they’re ensuring that I will not follow this WC as I once would, but those to come.

Thieving turds.
