Would have Laporte in.
Ake at LB.
Bernardo right wing and gundo in the middle.

It is what it is so let's hope we turn up.

As Ric predicted. Cancelo lucky to start but potentially offers far more going forward than Ake. I think it was right not to expose Lewis to an in form Rashford. United have a lot of pace going forward and Walker is needed. Foden preferred over Grealish. At his best he is more aggressive with the ball but he needs to step it up on recent performances. We badly need the in form Mahrez of more recent matches. Either Haaland scores or he occupies defenders to allow others space.

Possibly our strongest team. Possibly Grealish for Foden but could’ve been either way.

Playing Cancelo is criminal - Pep rewards players who are playing shit by playing them in the next game and I just don’t fucking get it ,but apart from his inclusión, the team itself is a good one.

This is derby day no half arsed effort today. We should be 100% fired up for this. A couple of early fouls on KDB and Haaland will have us fighting and at our best. Adrenaline pumping already and ready to strangle some cu#t. Come on you Blue Boys.

Obviously a nice balance of pundits on BT. Camelgob, Scholes for the Rags, Lescott for us. I wonder who the co-commentators are?

Listened to Pep’s presser and he seemed to very combative and really focussed. I’m sure that will be within the whole group.

Shaw instead of Martinez at centre back is interesting. Casemiro and Fred playing presumably as a double pivot.

Yep. Just when Pep starts to annoy me he reels me back in. He needs to be foaming at the mouth before kick off. Our fans in the swamp today will make themselves heard hope that passion gets the team going berserk.

Selecting Cancelo is an act of criminal sabotage.
