Not until we point out the blatant cheating EVERY TIME it happens. Get a spotlight shining on these dubious calls every game - not just ones we're involved in - and pretty soon the officials will think twice before awarding "soft" decisions in certain club's favour just to keep them, and the brand, relevant.

It was offside - anybody who genuinely thinks it was not, knows nothing about football.

Now we get headlines like this:
'There are no doubts about this man now. What a job Erik ten Hag has done at Old Trafford.
Rashford is right - Ten Hag's decision to bring Garnacho on changed the game completely.'

Nothing to see here, move on quickly, glory glory MU, get the Red subscriptions renewed (MU&Liv), keep the £££s flowing.
Game after game MU and Liv get the most ridiculous calls in their favor, last week it was Liv in the F.A. Cup.
That offside decision is as corrupt as the big calls against City in Liverpool games, when Liv were also being kept in contention.

I genuinely don't understand how MU & Liv supporters can celebrate 'victories' when they are so blatantly corrupt. Consistently corrupt.

Money talks, always did, always will.

Manchester United brilliant result but they get away with that as they have done over the years with decisions going for them at Old Trafford. Rashford has to be interfering with play. Any defender in the world would expect Rashford to be called offside in that moment…

I believe that one of the worlds most experienced Assistant Referees Darren Cann in flagging Rashford offside was correct to do so. I believe that there is justification to disallow this goal in law for offside.

The lino actually flagged the offside so why did the ref carry on playing?

We didn’t stop playing, we were in total control and I think we would have got a second. Then the officials gift those cunts a goal and then we were always going to struggle with the momentum against us.

Two Goals, the second was marginal offside - No VAR check either. IF there was it was damn quick , didn't see any lines drawn.

Thought the ball was played back to Rashford thus rendering it onside. My first though was it was offside but it wasn’t

Serious question: anyone thinks that something will change?

Or it will be better for us, a club, to draw a line and prepare? These things are here to stay and will always stay, but we also have our share of guilt in many moments.
I am constantly annoyed by our pattern to collapse after we are cheated or things are not going our way: scouse in the UCL, UCL final, Madrid last year, this year with Scouse or today. Sure, Villa's game is one example, but we lose our heads and we seem to be all over the place after things like this. We had our share of leaders, but do we have players that are too instable emotionally? It does not matter how good a guys is as a leader if players are easily influenced by bad things.
There are things that us and only us can fix and we fail to do that. And that's being ruthless.

I've read something about us after the WC, can remember where, but talked about how shite our lads were at their national teams, outside City and pointed out that most of them become succesfull here, but came from teams that were either not relevant, or bottled important moments.

I am not saying that is the thing, but again, as good as we are, we are soft fuckers.

Problem is Walker goes miles upfield supporting the attack, as soon as the counter happens he's hopelessly out of position.

And, his supporting the attack produces absolutely nothing-needs to focus on defending. But he's probs doing what Pep has told him to.

I think we need to look at the game in it’s entirety. I was screaming at the box when we were just simply playing tippy tippy football. Bernie had a perfect chance to shoot in the first couple of minutes, he declined. Every time united went forward they did so at pace and were not afraid to play a long ball, so despite dominating possession, we were second best. Second half we were much better and deservedly got our goal. We played well then for 10-15 mins afterwards, that’s when we should have hooked Haaland for Gundog to control midfield. Then came the officials cheating and the rest is history. My question to you all is why is Haaland playing if our style of play is to not play to his strengths ? He made several good runs, all of which were ignored…..he’s proved beyond measure that he can do it. I just don’t understand what’s going on. We will not win the title unless we can sort this shortfall out very quickly.

Did a quick check on various media outlets to see what was being said about the game.
As expected it is glory glory MU. Rubbish like:

'sensational MU comeback, inspired Ten Bob substitutions, Rashford's on fire......'
but i think the one that is really important is: 'MU are title contenders' that is the money shot.

What a crock of shit.

How is that equaliser allowed? It's honestly staggering.

As Beefy said, if the linesman's flag is raised, stop play.

Stupid ref started dishing out the bookings when the Rags went 2-1 up. Typical.

I remember when Arsenal turned from playing great football into a team that wanted to walk the ball into the goal, we are doing the same thing, it was the start of their downfall, I fear the same for us. Bernie and Foden, I’m sad to say, had little to no influence on the game. I’m fed up

I may have missed something but did he not flag until the ball is in the back of the net. Also, Rashford doesn’t stop Akanji getting to the ball. He’s nowhere near it.

It was allowed because it was good for the brand - nothing to do with playing to the laws of the game. Until it is hammered home to all fans that these decisions only go your way if you play for cetrain teams, the officials will get away with these pre-determined calls.

Rashford is between Akanji and the ball so he's obstructing him and also influencing Ederson's positioning. I agree though that he didn't flag until the ball went into the net then immediately remembered the pre-match briefing and put it down.

we need to shift bernardo in the summer. offers nothing in the final third. holds the ball too long. no goal threat and easy to mark. fails to spot haaland making runs. sadly it looks like even barca have lost interest.
