Then score with the Forest defenders standing round chatting like a few fishwives and retake the lead.

They’ll fluke 4th

Building is all good, but we're at a very tentative stage as a club (on the pitch). We won't get results as good as we have against teams again (the London Derby record for example, is incredible) next season, and we could really be in for a hard slog.

I don't see any reason you should be going anywhere other than possible issues at boardroom level, where greed seems the order of the day. Which is odd as our bloke has shown how to do it and has made more money than anyone else simply by being very successful.

If you keep players and manager/staff, I think you can build on the good things you have already got in place. Why would anyone, players or manager, push to leave at this point? It is all just getting going, imo. An old head (like when we brought Patrick Vieira in) would work wonders, I think. The experience of this season, whichever way it goes, will help as well.

It could, as you say, go the other way, but I don't see any really obvious reasons it should. Maybe I am missing something.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I know we're due a result at the Etihad (Heck, we're due a result at home against you!) but it won't be this season. It won't be now.

I like that we gave it a bit of a shot this season, (I'd never have expected us to beat Spurs and ManUre in back to back games, for example) but the last 2 games have me questioning the team's commitment to the cause.

It's still all set up to be our biggest game since the 06 CL final on Wednesday but that kind of pressure will make our boys crack.

If you do go on to win the league, I hope it's part of a treble where you, iconically, smash your neighbours in the cup final 6-0

Can you go into a bit more detail mate?

I think when City fans watched Arsenal in the past two seasons we could see what Arteta was building but I'm not sure your fans could.

I've stated here before that I think we will win the league by 5 points, but I'm not so sure about next season.

You must be very excited with how it's all tracking. One experienced signing next season will get you over the top I reckon.
Jug Ears on MOTD reckons a point on Wednesday and the Gooners are champions - a draw or better is not out of the question without Ake on the pitch. Forget the bookies - still all to play for no matter what result IMO - our run in Is frightening.

Which 'old heads' are around at the moment, though? We were lucky with Vieira, Lampard and Demichellis (although Hargreaves and Maicon didn't turn out as well as we thought they might have, if Maicon can be classed in that category). I'd be loathe for one of ours (Gundo, De Bruyne) to end up there.

Not sure what kind of result would be better here ?

I just don't want their top 4 already in the bag when they play arsenal - no idea when that is?

2-0. Lovely. Arsenal think they're getting 3 points at St James.

A Newcastle win means its more unlikely for the dippers to get top 4

The league is in our hands. And Spurs are on a very slippery slope and couldn't be relied on to beat Orient, let alone Arsenal in a derby
