Was at the game on Wednesday, and the one thing that hasn't had a mention is the atmosphere.
The whole place was rocking big time, with continuous singing from all round the ground.
One of the very best yet, and I really think the team responded to it.

As already mentioned many times, Oliver was either bent, incompetent, or following orders, I suspect the latter.
I've lost all respect for Arse after that, they were whinging and cheating all game.
And there aren't enough superlatives to describe how good City were.
We were so superior the Arse players were all shit scared.

Interesting. I couldn't go. It sounded shit on BT and I think they kept flicking a switch to filter it. Rags were snagging off.

My mate said first half was buzzing, second half bit shit (whixh winds me.up)

I did go a bit quiet at 3-0, which really annoys me too, but the first half and the beginning and end of the second were loud.
Sly and BT just seem to mute everything, unless it's scousers singing YNWA.

Guy Mowbray commentating on MOTD did refer to the “absolutely terrific atmosphere” at the Etihad (this was during the second half) and I thought the noise in the ground was pretty well captured by MOTD. Personally, I didn’t notice any significant lulls in the singing and chanting and that, overall, thought the atmosphere was up with the best over the last five years or so.
