I can’t see gundo going after the last half of the season performances, looks like a player that wants to stay, club captain too
Bernie wants to stay but apparently it’s not his decision…!

I concur, some thought his interview after winning the league smacked of goodbye. On the contrary i read it as a Captains speech. I seriously hope and doubt he is going anywhere.
Bernardo again has been such an integral part of what is rapidly turning into a legendary group of players. Surely his girlfriend can see and understand he won't achieve better elsewhere and that in another 4 years or so he will be in a position to move somewhere for his twilight years in La Liga. Can somebody get David Silva on the blower to him!!!

I would prefer Gundogan and Bernardo to stay but if replacements are needed ( or a thickening of the squad in midfield) Kovacic is a much better player than some seem to think. Pep certainly rates him or we wouldn’t be talking to him. He’s available not because he’s a bad player but because Chelsea have a bloated squad. He seems very open to coming. I’d be surprised if he isn’t Txiki’s first signing of the window. He won’t be the last. Presumably we won’t know about Gundogan ( who must wonder about the financial stability of Barca) and Bernardo ( PSG a more serious threat to keeping him because they’ve got the money). I don’t suppose we’ll know more about the two them till after the CL final.

Kovacic seems likely from what the experts are saying anyway.
I don't really see him as being ample replacement for Gundo or Bern, maybe I am missing something.

You probably wouldn't have said John Stones at CM either.

We don’t know why he’s being bought. He’d be a higher class back up for Rodri at DM than Phillips imo. He can also play further forward. Excellent in tight spaces, keeps the ball really well.

Benzema leaving Real Madrid for the big Saudi bucks. At his age makes sense. Who needs a top striker? Real, Bayern, United, Chelsea that’s who. Thank goodness we don’t.

That's ok. Haaland is going to Madrid because he is unhappy here.
Or that was what the media was saying.

Looks like he opted to envoke a 12 month extension taking him to 30/6/24

Persistent talk that we want Gvardiol as a replacement for Laporte who’s clearly going( he doesn’t want to and was in tears at the PL celebrations but he’s no option). He can definitely play left back too and Pep would see him as someone who would be instrumental in our build up play on that flank. He’ll be expensive. I don’t know how much we can get for Laporte ( please not Arsenal) but if we’re spending that much on Gvardiol you’d have to think Bernardo is the player who could bring in a decent sum. PSG can afford to pay whilst Barca couldn’t last year. Why does he want to play in the fucking farmers league? FFS.

I've always thought Laporte was a bit of a tart. That was confirmed when he swapped allegiance to Los Rojos . My opinion changed in the run-in last season when he played through obvious pain. That said, he will end up at Farca and i can see us AGAIN helping them out. Bernie as mentioned by all, is under the thumb which is just fucking madness, and is clearly under instruction to leave gloomy manchester. Grow a fucking pair Bernie, you soft twat and tell her to do one. Football wise we are the bollocks- stay and enjoy the ride

Gundogan/Kovacic - De Bruyne/ Kimmich - Rodri/Bellingham - Bernardo/Guerreiro
Palmer/Mahrez - Haaland/Alvarez - Grealish/Foden(2 Club Trained + 4 Association Trained + 17 Free List)

Not sure that Philips and Gomez will go, Gomez maybe a loan. Think Philips will be given another season.
Laporte and Cencelo are going.
