How good is this lad

Transformed into a hybrid defender/midfielder all at the same time. And a very fucking good one.

Is it too much hyperbole to suggest he’s the closest thing we’ve seen to Beckenbauer?

Top quality when he plays. Shame he’s injured 1/3 of every season. When he gets a run if games he’s one of if not the best in the world.

Also fucking class bloke by the looks too. Quality signing.

Yes I got 68 and 64 mixed up! I was referring to him getting stick for being the worst of our defenders on the ball according to one drunk ex poster.

Has cost us an extra £2.5M due to us winning the CL. :lol: :lol:
Apparently it was one of the add ons when we bought him from Everton!
