No point having rice, phillips, kovacic and rodri. Not many goals between them.
Rice can score. Not saying I believe everything the press say about who has offered what, but I think the idea is he plays further forward for us, bit like Gundogan in fact.
I think Rice would give us the option of pushing Rodders further forward instead. Not convinced that there is anyone as good as Rodders in the position he plays for us mind
I agree. I said yesterday Rodri further forward would be a good option. That late winner at Arsenal and the goals against Villa (last day of the season) and Inter are proof he can score when he gets forward.
Rodri would still be DM
Rice would have a role more akin to Bernardo and Gundogan, in an attacking sense

Could the Premier League be facing a rival in Saudi. Bernado linked. Is this a Super League starting?

The ESL needs a financial backer.
Saudi money is the same colour as anyone else's so it isn't a stretch to think they will bankroll it

It's shenanigans. Fair few dodgy FFP bypassing moves etc. but the actual Saudi League will be about as successful as the Chinese League.
Doesnt mean Saudi can't buy the PL itself though, subject to its ownership structure, or buy whatever UEFA/FIFA is willing to sell (everything and anything). Expect a Saudi world cup, Saudi Super Cup final, Saudi hosting/winning a world club cup... when Pep packs up a Saudi Newcastle will probably win the league, too (not with Howe).
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

I doubt it i really do, the chinese and japanese attempted it and got nowhere.
I seriously doubt there would be much of atmosphere in stadiums, so the games would come across as flat on the TV
Nothing more than an expensive pipe dream

I read a while ago, that he is staying.
I suppose if they keep guessing eventually some of them will be right.

Yep you're right SB, it's crazy season and this year i hate the amount of players being linked with moves away.
But maybe that's just me, i left school 41 years ago and only had to jobs iin that time, i had more jobs as a kid!!!
So naturally I'm hoping Kyle stops with us.

Same swap for Walker ?
Kovacic, Rice, Gvardiol, and wait for it Leroy Sane
These are the 4 summer signings my pals think are on the cards.

Rumours that Pep had a phone call with Sanè recently. We know his Mrs still spends half her time in Manchester and half in Munich and dislikes it there. He played well against us first leg in the CL. Wouldn’t be shocked if it happened, but at the same time I don’t think it will.

Looks like Edin Dzeko's off to Fenerbahce after his contract at Inter expired. I assume that'll be the final move of his career, unless his contract is 'cancelled by mutual consent' after a couple of months, like those of most players who head off out there.

Weird one. Think he’d be alright for a newly promoted team that launch the ball. He started the CL final so a bit weird he’s heading to Turkey.

Spoke about that last night with mates. We stayed close to Fenerbahçe stadium. Big club but Saudi would be a payday. IMO if Bernado goes to Saudi then the EFL better strap in as that is Pandora’s box smashed open. Saudi could be straw that breaks the Premier Leagues 30 years of domination. I bet Spain Italy are thinking yeah go on fuck em up, they have bullied the shit out of us for years. They have no rules in Saudi no Daniel Levy David Gill they don’t give a toss $ € FFP what’s that…… what player is turning down more in a year than Wolves Can pay you in 10 tax free. The answer nobody. And clubs will take that money all day.

I see Neville is calling for an embargo of transfers to Saudi clubs. I don't know how he thinks this would work - clubs have three choices: get transfer cash from a Saudi club for a player entering the final year(s) of their contract, let the player run down the contract and leave for free, or sell them to a third party for less money (who may, in turn, merely be acting as an intermediary for Saudi clubs). Surely with FFP rules in place as they are now, the first is the only sensible option?!
