I reckon you only have to go back to last summer whilst we made a profit bringing in Haaland, Alvarez and Akanji after selling Sterling, Jesus and Zinch.
I think we got more than anyone expected for Angelino the summer before as well which was close to 20 mil.

I’d say the money for Sterling was pretty reasonable as was Jesus and Zinch to be fair. Completely forgot about those three. If Arsenal decided tomorrow they wanted to sell Jesus and Zinch I reckon they’d get more for them than they paid though.

Plus with Jesus we’re talking about a guy that came off the bench against PSG and scored one and assisted one. Surely Messi and Ronaldo levels that!

I reckon only reason they would get more is becaude of their contract situation. Jesus and sterling had only a year left, not sure on zinhenko but no one cared as hes such a liability defensively.

The transfer of Hart was something that really suprised me.
He was England's number one and we only managed to ship him on a loan at Torino.

At the time I don’t think so. Now, yeah, he’s probably worth about £25m.

Did well to ship him there. He was shit for them- called out by the President for the amount of mistakes. Burnley next, dropped by Xmas. Same at West Ham. Found his level in Scotland.

Yeah, but odd, he had a good market value and no club came sniffing from England, just Torino.

As it stands this afternoon City Extra claim that 12 players could be moved out this window, you can add some others currently returning from loan making a full squad all with top level experience:
Steffen
Walker, H/Bellis, Laporte, Cancelo
Bernardo, Phillips, Gundogan
Mahrez, Alvarez, Palmer

Bench: Trafford, O'Reilly, Charles, C Doyle, Gomez, McAttee, T Doyle, Borges, Delap

Bayern if they don't get 'Arry - pretty baseless really but there is informed speculation about other bids for our younger players such as Oscar Bobb & CFG 's Savinho currently training at the Etihad. The departure of two of our top coaches is also rather unsettling.

But one that means if they want a player with a long contract they have to pay seriously top dollar which they rarely, if ever, do

From the BBC

Fulham and West Ham are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in England's European Under-21 Championship-winning captain Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

The 21-year-old Manchester City defender led the Young Lions to their first European title in 39 years with victory over Spain in Saturday's final.

He also won the Championship while on loan at Burnley last season.

It is understood City value Harwood-Bellis at about £15m.

Harwood-Bellis, who is entering the final year of his contract at City, was name-checked by England manager Gareth Southgate during the senior international break last month.

His centre-back partner Levi Colwill was part of the England squad during the last international break and figures at the FA believe Harwood-Bellis is one of a number of the current U21 team able to progress to the senior squad.

This had better not be true. He needs to be give a new contract pronto. £15m would be an absolute bargain

^^^^^ i'm reading that it is a mistaken identity with our young Julian. It's only the Dortmund fella they want.

Levi Colwell played a handful of games for brighton towards the end of last seasoj and they have turned doen bids of 40m plus.

Harwood bellis wins championship, has several seasons as a pro, captains england to under 21 euros and we have valued him at 15m.

Makes no sense.
