I think its fine, these lads owe us nothing and we owe them nothing. Its amicable. Its very hard to top what they have achieved last season, actually impossible so it makes a little sense esp to go to another giant of european football.
My fear is we might leave it too late to replace them wnd end up with a lot of duds who even if good will need a year to bed in.
Keeping bernardo the big one for me, we can get awat with losing walker and gundo to an extent.

I’d disagree massively mate. We’ve given these players the chance to work with the best manager in the world. We’ve given them the best facilities in the world. We’ve surrounded them by their mates in the football world (Walker with all the English players, Bern with all the Portuguese players).
Most importantly we’ve given them the opportunity to win the treble.
To think they owe us nothing is wrong imo. What other club has built what we have in the last 10 years? I’ve dug Pep out loads but we wouldn’t have won the treble without him. These players wouldn’t have won half of what they have if it wasn’t for the club and Pep.
I honestly think it’s a cunts move to do this and go to any rival

Remember when clubs tried to hide the fact that were tapping up players? Seems to have gone out the window. Would love city to turn around and just say sorry not for sale and refuse to do a deal. Esp with those fuckers. Rather lose him on a free next year
Mase wrote:Walker isn’t best his best though. He was clocked as being the fastest player in the Prem last season. He’s not slowing down. The second leg against Madrid was the best performance I’ve seen from him - he has VJr in his back pocket all night.
And Gundo definitely wasn’t passed his best - as shown multiple times last season.
I agree with the sentiment bit and we shouldn’t keep hold of players longer than we need to just because we like them. In the case of Walker he’s still got it and is very useful against pacy wingers.

I wouldn't get rid of Walker personally, I'd like him to stick around until Rico is ready to take over.

Yeah I agree. He’s got a lot to offer the kids in knowledge. If we’ve offered him two years and he won’t accept that it’s crazy.
