Maybe Mitoma and move Phil on the right where he is at his best, imho?

Applying Pep's logic.... why not go for Vini Jr and play him on the right wing instead of the right, only 23..... no idea of his personality would fit?
right...anyway it's Leroy for me :D

I'd love to see Leroy back too, although I think we're in a minority of two.
When he was here, I always thought of him as a future Ballon d'Or prospect, at BM he's become a bit anonymous.

Manchester City turn down Al-Ahli's £18m bid for winger Riyad Mahrez but expect the Saudi club to improve their offer

He is as good as gone now and as it takes a million years for a transfer to go through these days, we need to press on with his replacement ASAP.

Interesting whether he and or Walker travel to the Far East. I doubt Riyad will. Walkers transfer seems a bit behind and not yet nailed on so he might travel.

The Saudi clubs seem keener to offer squillions to players than to pay decent transfer fees.

Shouldn't it be 'Bon Voyage Algerian Prince'

As I've momentarily forgotten my arabic, French should do the trick

One of those funny players Mahrez, that fantastic first trap and he's had some wonderful moments for us. Other times, in the wrong game, he can be beyond useless and you get the sense that it isn't easy to predict which game will be which.

Still, thanks Riyad and goodbye

Done deal apparently. £30m plus add ons. The finest first touch I've ever seen.

Mahrez not going on the pre season trip. All over bar a medical surely. Walker deal not done yet anyway so he travels. Surprisingly Kevin’s travelling. I’d be very surprised if he played any part in any of the matches.

£30m is good business really when you think we paid £60m for him. We’ve definitely got £30m worth of performances from him over the years.

Never thought I would be but I’m slightly sad to see him go. Was hard to warm to him at first but he scored some class goals with that left foot of his!

Enjoy the money my friend.

I read earlier on one of the City related socials that he Mahrez decided to move on because Pep didn't start him in either FA Cup final or Chumps final, no idea how true that is.

He had a shout for the FA Cup final after scoring a hatrick in the semi. But absolutely no chance he deserved a start in the CL final.
