We have Grealish, Foden, Bernardo, McAtee, Palmer and at a push Alvarez who can all play out wide

Not concerned
I am and so are a lot of fans. Bernardo might still be off to penniless Barca, Palmer is almost certainly going on loan after failing to impress, McAtee is in the the squad for experience - nowhere near a first team starter yet. Agree Alvarez needs more minutes which will likely be in the KDB role - not wide right - same for Foden. Not happy about it but I fancy Wilf Zaha or Adama Traore might even rock up to fill the Mahrez gap - both currently available on a free. Like to see Leroy back personally ;)
Anyway it's meltdown in Saudi tonight

If Mahrez goes we will definitely need a replacement. Which would cost 80m +.

He is a key player and we will miss him.

It’s an absolute comedy how Bayern are saying dealing with Kane’s family is a delight.
I almost want for Levy to fuck them over.

Walker will be wanting guarantees on playing time from Pep which he won’t get. Rico is clearly going to get more minutes this season and Walker isn’t really a player who can get forward and put in quality balls. I’m sure Pep would like to keep him but only for a certain type of match. Mahrez will go surely. Pissed off at missing both Cup Finals and the money is very tempting at his age. Plus as a Moslem Saudi Arabia isn’t as unsympathetic an environment as for some. Frenkie for Bernie? Problem is Frenkie’s wages. We really need to know on Walker and Mahrez asap so we can sort replacements. Obviously I hope we keep Bernie preferably with a new contract.

Good summary
I'd add to that that over the years Walker and Mahrez have played together a lot and know each others games and Mahrez seems to play better with Walker behind him and vice versa. Maybe there's a school of thought that if one goes we might as well sell the other and raise some money whilst it's on offer

Just back from Spain. So I speak regularly with a Barca fan. Sound lad Tony. He as a lifelong fan cannot get his head around how we sell to his team. They are as broke as Malaga CF. Beyond bankruptcy and propped up. The first option for his team is free players then loans. So my question is why do we not kill all Bernado talk They are broken as are many Spanish teams. I explained his new wife wants away from Manchester. He as a retired finance guy, said in answer, Barca are a fake club ruined by successive vain presidents. We are SpotifyFC. He doubts they have 1.2 mill let alone any business dealing with the power of City. He said if we got an offer of 50 mill for Gundogen from Saudi he would be sold. Look how we delay players reaching financial landmarks we don’t have the money to pay so we do everything to delay it and have done for years. I said you won the league he said because Madrid were in limbo.

Brilliant bit of business by PSG. That’s a proper buy back -

Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons is set to rejoin Paris St-Germain from PSV Eindhoven one year after leaving.

Simons, 20, has left PSV's pre-season training camp after the French champions reportedly activated a £5m buy-back clause in his contract.

He scored 19 goals and registered nine assists in 49 games last season, helping PSV win the Dutch Cup.

Simons made his international debut at the World Cup, during the last-16 win over the United States.

I think we need a marquee signing to put Arseanal, vermins and rags back in their place. Even with outgoings senior players, we're still good enough to retain the league. A marquee signing would certainly deflate their morale. Over to you Tixi

Its strangely quiet at the moment but plenty of time yet. Looks like were losing a few more in Walker and Mahrez. Were told Bernie wants only Barca, and nobody else, but they cant afford him, so surely he stays, he will need to.

If Walker goes we wont bring in a new right back. Problem is there seems to be a scarcity of obvious targets to replace Mahrez, and he will need to be replaced. A few injuries to our players who can play wide and suddenly its looking thin on the ground.

Sam Lee suggests City are going into overdrive to try to keep Bernardo and will buy a winger if Mahrez leaves which he thinks likely.

Fulham have rejected bid worth up to £45m from West Ham for midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The Cottagers are not encouraging offers for the player and are understood to value him at £80m.

I doubt Fulham will sell. He’s got four years on his contract and absent a Rice like figure ( which isn’t on for West Ham) they’ll keep him.

Is this Leipzig’s replacement for Gvardiol? Very young.
