I just don’t think he’s mentally quick enough for Pep’s tactics. He’d be fine at a kick and rush type team - Liverpool he’d probably be spot on for. But for us I don’t think he’s quick enough mentally
Can’t downplay how much it annoys me someone like Phillips has gone on this tour and lads like Tommy Doyle that are blue through and through and most importantly - wouldn’t do any worse, are sat at home.
