An incredible stat NB but I am so glad that last cunt is no longer spent a decade disrespecting our beloved club.

Hope you've enjoyed your birthday Hants

Cheers NB, was supposed to be in work but we got a cancellation hospital appointment for my 91yr old Mum, so added bonus of spending it with her before for an early pint or two.

i'd be alright with it if we were the 'mystery bidder'

It’s gaining more momentum that we’re in for him. Would be class, but we’re possibly only in for him the same way we were in for Rice - to push the price up.

suspect poch called pep and asked him to make a bid so that boehly will up chelsea’s offer. apparently that’s how the transfer system works

I'll be honest, I know fuck all about him other than seeing loads of twitter always mentioning him being decent. I only watch city, couldn't give a fuck about Brighton so he's not on my radar. Is he actually any good? Like, 80m+ good?

We aren't paying £80m for a Brighton player IMHO

They're a far better team than Villa were when we paid 100 mil for one of their players and that's not worked out too bad.

It would be funny if we bought him and he excels under Pep. I hear Rice is struggling with the way Arsenal play.
We could chuck in Palmer as a sweetener or preferably Phillips.

Why not? We're paying a similar amount for a leipzig player with zero prem experience.

It might not not be as mad as you think.

Decent stat that: like the Jimmy Armfield - John Burridge - Richard Edghill one (1954/55-2007/08), with Burridge having played alongside both.

Michael Olise apparently does have a £35m release clause to a PL club - Txiki loves one of them!

I don't care how much money they throw at it. Its a shit league and always will be.
Laporte is more than good enough for a good champions league European club.

Cant see us being the ones on for Caicedo, pure defensive midfielder and one who puts out fires. Not much use to us when was have 70percent possession, a bit like the way Phillips is not much use to us. We have rodri phillips and kovacic all capable of doing that role, i would much rather some attacking players who can score and assist.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever agreed to a 5 year payment plan from our side deserves to be sacked. Disgusting that

Caicedo would be a good move , to us. He reminds me of a diminutive version of Yaya. He's got a great engine too.

Yeah, deffo not a Pep player, but he was excellent at Euro 2021.

Borges in Amsterdam ready to join Ajax. Excellent move for him, to be honest, better chances of development rather than under Moyes.

Borges signs for Ajax for £17.3M with a 20%sell on clause as well

Disappointed a bit with this as we never got the chance to see if he was first team or squad material

Crazy really because we need a winger to replace Mahrez. At the same time, Delap smashed it in the PL2 but has struggled even in the Championship. Borges is a different type of player though and I’d like to have seen him at least once in preseason

Are we in need of cash at the moment? £300+ million in prize money, plus the sale of a load of kids and we barely spent last summer and the same this summer.

It's not nice to see young prospects shipped out. However of all the younger players sold in recent seasons there's not many you would say would definitely get into our first team as regular starters.

Yes the odd mistake will be made, but I think we mostly get it correct.

We can't keep them all.

Wasn't the majority of the £300m already accounted for? In other words spent.

I get what you are saying. Palmer divides opinion’ amongst my mates and kids . Are the club taking a view that with all stats, contracts to factor in. Cashing in stops the leave for free players. Our production line is the worlds best. I thought if anyone was to be bought back it would be Lavia.. will we ever activate the BB clause???
