It worked for Yaya, it worked for the Stockport Iniesta. So over to you Jeremy!!!!
Pretzle pop your long match day post in here.
For me, I think he'll come good but at the moment he's a tad of a one trick pony with some fancy moves and plenty pace. However he doesn't move the ball quick enough, doesn't seem to be able to whip a ball in.
Such a threads worked wonders in the past and am sure the kid will come good but right now he's a player to bring on when legs are tired.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

He’s stopped using his pace to run at defenders because Pep has told him to. Happened with Jack and I said Pep would beat it out of Doku soon.
He's not a Pep type player

Would help if he had an end product. Pass or goal would be fine

He’s new to the system, he’s different, let’s give him time to see what he can bring.

Most people need a year with Pep.
Rodri got stick in his first year

I remember an interview in which Jack says that Pep told him not to do something positional wise he had done at Villa which was a big part of his game. Very early on with us he would go to the byeline and cross..... something that Doku did in his early games. Sometimes it's called for to use the full length of the pitch.

Not yet
But he isn’t the first signing to not hit the ground running straight off the bat.
He gives us a different dimension that we didn’t have before. It doesn’t work all the time but he keeps defenders guessing. He needs to work on his end product, that’s clear, but he can work on that
Worth persevering with for me

Agree with that apart from the last sentence. Pep is trying to make him a Pep player. That's why we don't see the Stough fans love, that he did in the beginning.
I still think he can come good again, despite being very frustrating right now. Tonight I would have looked to see him on the right and Foden on the left. Lindelof was there for the taking, but we made it easy for I'm, with Phil always going on the inside.

He's not quick enough upstairs for me. Seems to take him an age to decide what he's going to do. He always seems to get the ball when he's standing still. Maybe try giving it to him when he's in motion. Gotta be easier to beat your man if you're not coming off a standing start. Shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up for the must win games at the moment.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I think you guys have said most of what I’m thinking about Doku above. I’m not giving up on him yet ( remember his perfect performance against West Ham ?).
I think it will do him good to come on as an impact sub for a while as he learns more how to become a Pep player.
We can only really judge him next season which will be his second.

He's only here 6 months. Its clear he has talent. It's also clear he has a lot to learn. To be writing him off now is very premature.

Still a work in progress for me. Not convinced he warranted a start yesterday but that's on Pep and he sees him every day. Talented nio doubt but currently not offering a lot as a starter

He is not there yet, he still looks very raw, very very raw.
But he is under the best manager he could ever be.
Let's see where he is next year.

the thing with me is, he gets ball when there is one player near him, then waits till another joins the first man before he moves, just take the first man on and cross
