Funny this one, i like mcatee, very talented. Loan move to Sheff U a poor idea, he did well in parts but a team so below prem standard who barely had the ball was never a for his skills. Id like to see us loan him out again before selling, a Brighton or someone who can keep the ball.

Exactly my thoughts. Brighton would be ideal. The Sheffield United loan was absolutely pointless. A wasted year.

Solution: we are not.

Bernie should check with his mates at Barca, Gündo and Cancelo if they have been paid last September's pay yet,

I mentioned this possibility about KDB going to Saudi weeks ago - some of you lot on here seem to have zero clue when it comes to players making money decision moves ( in fact clueless whenever a financial topic comes up on here and yet argues as if you do !! )- too many of you think a player just wants to play football in a big league for a big team and that they should ignore the dollars on offer.

What would it take to tempt Txiki to sell him? What can Txiki offer him to get him to stay? Presumably length of contract. With the end of the Pep era looking likely in a year he likely won’t be the only one leaving.

We need to keep an eye on summer 2025 (Hopefully we are) If Pep is going next June we don't want too many players all going at the same time, that's why we should be looking for replacements for Kevin now.

Wow at his quotes. He is on the spectrum but he's basically said I can earn loads more money why not (how much do these guys need) are his kids better in some random Saudi school for 2 years ?

Would be helpful if our own players don’t fuel the fire and just let themselves and the club deal with it - instead of pushing it in the media. It’s like most footballers are that narcissistic they just can’t help discussing themselves to the media.

But like Nick says, Kev clearly on the spectrum.

Inevitable Saudi and KDB. Timing is key. I can’t see City getting in the way of a legendary player leaving for a no risk league. Good luck to him and thanks Kev.

Saudi is a pretty forbidding place for a young woman and kids but they could live in Abu Dhabi which is much more hospitable and in easy reach.

Exactly - he goes and we get loads for him he goes and he’s set up for life , in every sense of the word .

Tosin signs for Chelsea. Good move for him. Be interesting to see if Maresca follows Pep's approach to a small squad. He will have his work cut out with the current numbers

Lots of rumours about Alvarez going. He just signed a new contract, do I'd only let him go for big money.

Why? He started loads of games this season. Granted, his minutes dropped off in the second half when Haaland was back, but I also feel he didn't really stake a claim for a starting spot when given the chance.
