I've got the engine running at the moment to drive him there.
The beeb say he is 33 years old. How did he get away with winning the u21 competition last season with spain ?

I don't blame him.
Why? He started loads of games this season. Granted, his minutes dropped off in the second half when Haaland was back, but I also feel he didn't really stake a claim for a starting spot when given the chance.
He gets slagged off by all and sundry on here when he misses a chance - nah , I hope he goes to another team and scores 30 a season - he is a class payer and deserves to play more than bit parts .

Would be very surprised if we let Alvarez go.
Really surprised.

What happens if Erling gets injured? It would have to be a gigantic offer for Txiki to let him go. I think he stays.

Like Nools has said, he’s just signed a new contract. If he wants to go a club will need to pay £80m plus for him, which they won’t.

We’d be morons to sell him unless a really big bid comes in. Which if the rumours about Atletico Madrid are true, it isn’t coming from them.
Haaland will move on in the next couple of seasons and Alvarez is a ready made replacement. He is going nowhere

Sancho up for sale for £40m
Bayern paying £38m for Palhinha
Why do we end up paying £53m for Nunes and £43m for Phillips?!

We need to be a bit more savvy this summer.

It's a buyers market as far as Rags castoffs are concerned Mase. I really doubt any Rag player will go unless they pay the contracts up in full.

Plus we sold Palmer for €47m to Chelsea!
He's now valued at €80m!

Tolmie tweeting we're trying a last minute hijack of his move to Juve - bigger wages offered & £43m fee mentioned then deleted.

He's a better option than Phillips so that's a plus. No-one is taking Rodders' place so we'd have to adapt and maybe that puts Kova under pressure. Yes for me, matured into a decent player and would give us options

He’s cheaper for City because we have a sell on clause. Much prefer Guimaraes but he’s expensive.

I see Douglas Luis to Juventus talked about. Txiki gets a nice earner from that.

Haven't we been linked with him too. For me decent but not top level. Not where we should be going. I want Yaya, KDB, D Silva quality not Kovacic, Nunes Philips quality.
