Our success is despite him rather than because of him. An absolute dullard, boring tactician, responds to what is happening late , never dictates a game.
Still not long now. Happy to be watching it with my son and fellow blue. Took me a long time to get him into football but at 30 years of age , i'm hoping to have a good night win or lose and one he can remember when i'm gone.
Watching a few games over the years with my dad, 1966 World Cup, 1967 and 68 European Cup finals and 1970 World Cup games ( think he was playing cricket for the final so he didn't watch it)
Over the years he was impressed the most by Cruyff and the Dutch side of the 70's
