That's not going win you post of the year potato groomer.

Fancy laughing at your posts, I bet you're squirming for someone to join your little crusade. What a weak little man.

I'm not sure why the words 'grooming' and 'squirming' touched your nerve. It's starting to make sense now. Maybe I should add 'predator' to the list. That will touch your nerve. It's only you that's reacting, which makes its very suspicious. Afterall, Internet predators have a certain charm. You carry on squirming potato groomer.

What the fuck is a "potato groomer"? Bordering on racism here. Are you City64 in disguise?

I've noticed a few dodgy posts along these lines before from this lad.

There's been a few of these types over the years on here and they normally get worse before they leave.

Although, now that alvarez is going, maybe he's already left?

City are being criticised for saying unhappy players can go. Pep doesn’t want them round the dressing room. The important caveat is that City want the proper price paid if they are to leave.

Exactly.

And this policy has worked amazingly so far.

This "unhappy" thing is what bothers me.
He played wank in most of the games last season. Of course he shouldn't play in big games. He never scored against the rags, scored one against the clan two seasons ago, was wank versus Madrid this year, absent in most games. So you are unhappy?
Be unhappy on yourself because you had chances.

If I were a striker one club would not go to is Athletico! They are the most negative club I can think off!

We can argue about your opinion of 'wank' but I seem to recall him putting the first penalty away in the shoot-out versus Madrid. We are going to miss this lad- mucho suerte Julián

If he goes, which is looking extremely likely now, do we need a striker as a replacement?

I guess a lot depends on how long Haaland will be our striker. If we think we’ll have him for another 4/5 years for example then I doubt we spend big on on striker as he wouldn’t get the game time such a fee would warrant and the player himself would desire.

If we think we have another year or two with Haaland then maybe we buy another striker, but perhaps more as a Haaland replacement rather than an Alvarez one

Let’s not forget we scored more goals the season previous to Haaland coming playing with the false 9. And we have so many attacking options we will still score plenty.

I wouldn't buy a proper striker, but more of a trequartista, shadow striker. Someone who can be a false nine option, but who can play along with him. Erling has an injury record, so if he get's fuck, we are in trouble.
Just saw a link with Neto from Wolves. Isn't he a right winger?

Do we really need a replacement for Alvarez? Much rather we put this money into a No 6.

I’d go for Guimaraes with the money but the bar codes may not want to sell at all and if they do he’ll be expensive. Not like for like but he would transfer our midfield and provide cover for Rodri.

If he goes, i will be sorry to see it as i think he is a great player. I would concede that he missed a few last season and didn't do as well as i thought he might but i don't think it was a poor season, just not great. Oscar Bobb is waiting in the wings and is capable of stepping up but i think we should spend the money we get .
Dani Olmo. Vinicius Junior, Musiala all worth going for but if we can't get one of them lets not panic and end up with a make weight. Plenty of decent players in the academy

11 goals in 31 starts (36 total) in the Prem. Pretty poor for a team like City that put it on a plate

True, but he also grafted and invariably put in a full shift even when he wasn't on the scoresheet. He was also prepared to be the firstline of a pressing team, something Haaland isnt the best at. Hopefully this season Haaland , Bobb, Foden, Doku, Grealish, De Bruyne and Savinho will be enough

Vassell used to graft mate - we’re not a team that applauds grafters.

Oh dear. Sounds like he spoke out to the media before having a proper think about what he wants to do (hence “I’ll decide after the Olympics”), and that’s pissed Pep off and now Julian is having second thoughts.

Ed has kept quiet and cracked on and not burnt bridges.

Hopefully the transfer goes through.
