I would concede that he missed a few last season and didn't do as well as i thought he might but i don't think it was a poor season, just not great. Oscar Bobb is waiting in the wings and is capable of stepping up but i think we should spend the money we get .
Dani Olmo. Vinicius Junior, Musiala all worth going for but if we can't get one of them lets not panic and end up with a make weight. Plenty of decent players in the academy

11 goals in 31 starts (36 total) in the Prem. Pretty poor for a team like City that put it on a plate

True, but he also grafted and invariably put in a full shift even when he wasn't on the scoresheet. He was also prepared to be the firstline of a pressing team, something Haaland isnt the best at. Hopefully this season Haaland , Bobb, Foden, Doku, Grealish, De Bruyne and Savinho will be enough

Vassell used to graft mate - we’re not a team that applauds grafters.

Vast majority of fans main hate is for a lazy bastard. Unless you are messi and 99.99% of players get nowhere near messi levels

But Alvarez is a bit of a step up from Darius

All jokes aside, our players work hard, full stop. Theres not one of them that’s a lazy cunt. They wouldn’t play. Just working hard isn’t good enough for us these days, that’s my point. Alvarez has to do more than 11 goals in 36 games.

Showing a strikers goal stats is bad?

Bobb, Savio, McAtee will get 16 assists between them. Guaranteed.

Which would be a massive increase as Alvarez actually got 9.

If we’re getting £80+ million for Alvarez, realistically what is someone like Foden worth? They’re both the same age btw. £150-200m?

A boy from Stockport, whose dad supports the Rags and could have easily gone and supported them. How lucky we are to have such a player!

We wont be spending the Alvarez money on anyone :(
We haven't done any business, I know Savio, but I thought that deal was more or less agreed last January.

I am reading we sold for around 200 mil this summer, so we have money to spend.
Why aren't we doing that is what bothers me.

We don't need to. Promote McAtee, Utilise Bobb more, Grealish with a point to prove, hopefully KDB stays fit, Savio on board, Doku 2nd season under Pep. If Haaland needs resting or is injured play Foden as false 9 (like we did before we had Haaland).

Only worry is back up for Rodri - Against weaker teams though we can play Stones there or even not need a direct Rodro cover

That's not going win you post of the year potato groomer.

Fancy laughing at your posts, I bet you're squirming for someone to join your little crusade. What a weak little man.

I'm not sure why the words 'grooming' and 'squirming' touched your nerve. It's starting to make sense now. Maybe I should add 'predator' to the list. That will touch your nerve. It's only you that's reacting, which makes its very suspicious. Afterall, Internet predators have a certain charm. You carry on squirming potato groomer.

What the fuck is a "potato groomer"? Bordering on racism here. Are you City64 in disguise?

I've noticed a few dodgy posts along these lines before from this lad.

There's been a few of these types over the years on here and they normally get worse before they leave.

Although, now that alvarez is going, maybe he's already left?

Noticed? Do you not have a fucking life beyond the Internet and potato grooming? Have you been stalking me? Apparently grooming a vegetable is racist

Aye, someone is holding your hands.

I didn't say you were racist. You're definitely fucking weird though, that's for sure.

Seriously, try to explain to everyone what you meant when you posted "Alvarez haters will be squirming" after alvarez scored a goal for the club we all love?

It's so peculiar.

I know this really annoys you and me pointing it out is what kicked this all off but maybe only way of possibly redeeming yourself is telling the rest of the class what in fuck's name was going through your head when you posted it?

Stats can be misleading. Alvarez had an average season but comparisons with Bowen are an insult to him. If he wants to go and we are getting 85 mill plus we should bank it

Because in my opinion Alvarez is a thoroughbred, experienced international and gifted whereas Bowen isnt. The gap between them only gets close when Bowen plays out of his skin and Alvarez is off his game. Personal opinion that's all

squirm
verb
gerund or present participle: squirming
wriggle or twist the body from side to side, especially as a result of nervousness or discomfort.
"he looked uncomfortable and squirmed in his chair"

Squirming is a physical symptom characterized by involuntary or purposeful body movements, often seen as wiggling or fidgeting. These movements may involve the whole body or specific body parts, such as hands or legs

You can interpret it however you want, you've taken it out of context and portrayed into something more sinister.

It was actually directed at Nige, you should revisit his posts, it's not a secret he dislikes Alverez.

You should know, memos are written in general context but they can be intended for one specific party.
