Cannot imagine even the red shite would be daft enough to gofir that. They ckearly want Sancho off the books but Sterling's wages would likely be a problem. Make it happen Jimbo the unrest would add to the fun

Never ever underestimate the idiocy that emanates from the swamp in every department.
This is the sort of deal they'll do out of desperation to get rid of Sancho and they'll be arrogant/stupid enough to think they can restore Sterling to former glory

If by restore to former glory you mean his days at Palace, you may be right .

Would Raz move there? What’s to stop him saying to Chelsea that his family is settled in London, he’s still got 3 years on £350k a week and to go fuck themselves?

Absolutely nothing whatsoever

But if he stays at Chelsea and takes his money but doesn’t play he will have effectively retired at 29 as no one will take him on after 3 years playing FIFA when he’s 32

Not unlike Danny Mills really

Absolutely fuck all. He holds all the cards doesn't he? As pointed out in the other thread though, he is finished if he sits his contract out and I Don’t see him doing that

£30m  That’s a great bit of business!!!

Arguably the best bit of business for a number of years. Haven’t heard of even a sniff from anyone else in Europe interested in taking Cancelo, even on loan. So if we get even close to £30M then wow and well done to the selling department

At least Cancelo could actually play football.

That’s the thing about Cancelo. He does have talent but he has a really shit attitude. It’s not just Pep. Bayern Munich didn’t want to keep him and Barca aren’t tearing the doors down to keep him either. He’s 30 now. If his family can take it he might as well cash in and safeguard their financial future. Obviously it would be good to get him off our books permanently. That leaves Nunes who’s clearly available for sale and Phillips who we can only hope shows something at Ipswich. McKenna’s a decent coach. Maybe he can get the best out of him.

Atletico Madrid are exploring a deal to sign Matheus Nunes on season-long loan from Manchester City before the transfer window closes.

With a £7m loan fee

I simply don’t get this loan with an obligation to buy

If you are prepared to do that then fucking buy the player now
