I seriously don't think it's anything about cutting costs, and much more to do with stopping the red nosed one from haunting the place.
Not sure what anyone else thinks, but I'm convinced that Slur Alex has far too much influence at the swamp, and his opinions and whims have been taken too seriously, to the the detriment of the club.
From my point of view, him being removed can only be viewed as a negative, as with the rags resources and wealth they're likely to become serious challengers again, as opposed to the joke they've become, largely due IMHO to Ferguson's presence.

Perfectly put. Can't argue with any of that.
Can we start a petition to get him reinstated? Gazza could be the first to sign...

100% agree Patrick. Undoubtedly scruffy Jim has cut the non-footballing staff costs. This move to rid them of Ferguson and his stench iis good for them. We can hope that in the short term results remain poor and the fans turn forcing them to pull the trigger on ten bob and appoint southgate now that Tuchel is out of the running.

Apparently, they've also sacked a bunch of his mates from MUTV as well.

All these trivial cost cutting measures do make me wonder how badly in the shit the rags are financially

Still haven’t heard what points penalty they will receive after missing the PSR targets by a massive margin

I'm not sure if old Jim is a doppelganger for Catweasle, or Ian Anderson. Living in the past.

Someone, somewhere has to call in the debts. They must be paying a fortune to keep the Fail producing so much manure about Man Ure every day.

We need another crash on Wall street to kill them off , better than Domestos.

Further to the bit about ol' red nose being given his marching orders, it's seems not all is lost judging by Ten Bob's latest utterings, a snippet of which goes as follows

"I'm sure he is always available for advice and we will definitely need him in the short term, as we did in the last two and a half years I have been here."

Let's just hope bacon chops keeps giving out the sound advice eh!

That was my first though. Mainoo is a poor man’s Rico. I’ve genuinely never seen him have a good game. Garnacho is their best player. It’s like being the fittest bird among a group of mates where the average weight is 25 stone.
