We've become commercially obsessed, it' feels like we forgot about the football team.

Don't be surprised we'll end up buying another deadwood for 50m

Don't fall out with any of this, pretty much how i feel.
I wouldn't accept the 'will he won't he stay' bollocks that Pep is doing. Give him an ultimatum. From what i've seen Bournemouth have a decent manager .
Nightmare scenario we get Gareth Southgate

Not a prayer we get Southgate.

I have a funny feeling we will get beat on Tuesday and that’ll be three defeats in a week. Not happened before as far as I can remember. We are out of steam because there is no pace, vision or steel in our midfield, unfortunately Kev is not the answer any more….Bobb is but unfortunately out. I don’t think we have a prayer of winning anything this year, the players are clearly not hungry for it. Isn’t it time Foden took the bandage off his hand ?

KDB, Grealish, Stones, Dias, are they all injured? Is Pep protecting them?

Pep sad pays Dias has a muscular issue and will be out till after the international break. Stones has an issue with his foot. Says Walker hadn’t trained for 19 days before he started today. Says City couldn’t handle Bournemouth’s intensity.

I know how you feel, but strangely enough I am not surprised we lost. The mood music from Pep has not been positive. The injuries, the tiredness, the number of games, all of this collectively generates negative energy. This is transmitted to players & fans. The tiredness issue is a self fulfilling prophecy & should be dispensed with. Top four would be good with this squad & no Rodri.

Is Pep gonna leave us with an ageing not good enough squad in the summer similar to what bacon did?

I get the “let’s wait until Pep wants to decide”. But at the same time - give us a fuckin answer or fuck off mate. We need to plan. This could set us back years

I said earlier in this thread our good days are diminishing . Big changes needed . Glad though that I seen the good days I was in the Colin Bell stand when Aguero scored that goal . Followed City since the sixties and will keep on what ever happens and fuck em all .

I understand injuries, but don’t understand what those have to do with us playing the same old side to side passing without a plan b.
Changes came and we scored and could have got another one. It was clear since min 15 nothing was working.

He doesn’t seem to have the fire in him to go for 5 out of 5.

I’d stick Nunes in the middle. We need his physicality and pace there. Not sure who else can provide it.

100% this. Definitely over Gundo at the moment.

Gundogan, Bernardo and Kovacic can't be a midfield 3. So slow.

This was noted 3 games ago. And yet it happened again and I've a horrible feeling it will happen again and sooner rather than later.

We simply don't control the midfield without Rodri. And Foden is a shadow of the player he was last season with no sign of getting his mojo back.

It's just too many players unavailable and off form. It happens and it's a bummer and we have to hope to muddle through until we get the likes of Bobb and KDB which will help with creativity

We should stop with this stupid idea of passing the ball back to the goalie at kick offs . Keep the ball and go forward. Everytime the ball is played in the air it becomes a 50-50 ball.

Sometimes Eds long passes are brilliant , but they are few and far between.

Also, it's nice that gundo is back, but he should not be starting.

Many questioned Nunes, but in the last few games he has shown his speed and strength in making good defensive tackles. I would have preferred him and a younster in midfield yesterday to provide energy and speed. Kova is ok at mopping up like rodri does ,but needed help and gundo was way off it yesterday.

Poor Bernie can't work with gundo at the moment.

So yeah, bench and last 10 mins for a while for gundo

Pep stressed that we couldn’t cope with the long balls. We were losing the 50 50s and then they ran in behind. Really missed Dias for that kind of challenge. He’s our best ‘stopper’ Centre Back.
