Jack should have been first name on sheet for inside forward, he was clearly not injured, perhaps Pep was saving him for CL, if so that is poor motivation, its saying you cannot play twice a week, absolute fucking ridiculous. This negative mantra off Pep is obviously being picked up by players. Salah seems to be ok playing every week. Send Pep on a course with Mr Motivator

Agree, I think it is mainly this but now also, a little fuck me we cannot lose any more players. Eirher way, its affecting the players. I think both Jack and Doku will start Wednesday

He's just insulted the intelligence of City supporters. Why can't he give a decent interview and be honest with us, the club, his bosses and players. I don't believe in berating someone in public ( praise in public , criticise in private) but come on some honesty please

We are not all over the place at the back.
We are all over the place in midfield.

Midfield is and always will be the driving force in a team.
It should not be that the back three are making the play when Gündo, Bernie , tin tin and Rico are hiding from their jobs.

Buried in "Pockets" along the "lines".

Jack showed on wednesday that midfield needs to move forward quickly. We are missing this at the moment.

Midfield is the key and at the moment we don't have one.

The back three should not be dictating possession, the midfield should be.

Tin tin gave the ball away cheaply a few times, bernie floated around the action and Gündo is trying to dominate the midfield but without the legs and strength to do it. Nuff said about Rico, he has been shocking for weeks now. Still the suspension will take the pressure off him.

Midfield is the driving force but a team is built on a solid defence. You can't push off from a shaky foundation. Walker is a massive weakness, Dias was great, Gvardiol was decent. Lewis average. Midfield was poor and the keeper didn't have his best game distribution wise. Gundo isn't solid enough to indulge KDB and Silva. Need some our big strong kids in this team. We just looked fucked and easily bullied. Midfield is key but secondary to getting the defence stable. I agree that the plays should be generated from midfield though.

Watched the highlights.

Two kebab shop owners score against us.

Shearer says it was a sending off because “you can’t tackle once you’re on a yellow” very weird comment… especially from someone that booted Lennon in the face and told the FA he’d not play for England if they charged him.

If he seriously believes that he has troubles that go beyond football management

Just for once, call a spade a spade. Dig out the collective if needs be. Not individual performances as that would not be the correct thing to do. But the team have won enough and been successful enough to have humility and grace to be told when the standard required hasn’t been to a satisfactory outcome. If you keep saying everything is great people will believe it is, when quite frankly, it’s far fucking from it.

He insults our intelligence all the time ( it actually works on some fans !!)

Pep gets fuckign slated for this season, and rightly so, for making the same fucking mistakes game after game and even the most loyal pep apologists cannot be that stupid to make excuses for him.

Walker has cost us games,Gundo has cost us games and that's just 2 glaringly obvious mistakes the manager keeps on making by playing them.

I was told I was talking shit about pep not being able to do fuckall without his top players being available and hes proving me right - his management and team selection this season has been SHIT.....25 million pounds a year for him to manage us like this ?

He better turn this around as if he doesn't he will be gone in the summer - CL qualification, end of this season, is a fuckign must.

No one has stepped up , Foden is a complete disgrace this season - straight after a huge pay rise and he turns to shit , financial future sorted out , plays safe every time .

I also think that some of the other players are probably thinking to themselves why the fuck the manager keeps picking shit performing players - they must shit themselves passing the ball to walker or Gundo and maybe its my imagination getting the better of me but lots of our flair players seem to be hiding on the pitch or they play boring safe balls for fear of a fuck up.

Being a city fan these days is the same as being a fan of casualty. Players suffering from various illnesses such as Bronchitis, viral infections, muscle strains, ligaments, acl the fucking lot. Sounds like the first day at the battle of The Somme. The manager sounds like Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest. The team are playing like a championship side, anybody watching yesterday’s game & didn’t know who was playing could be forgiven for thinking it was Stockport’s reserves v Hyde United, terrible game low quality hoof ball v lose the ball, pathetic. The manager said he was proud of that shit show, was he doing an audition for Would I lie to you.
If he was saving players for CL he is going to get caught between stools. We are not going to win either playing like we are with disjointed teams. He should prioritise one of the competition’s & put the best resources to it. We just need to manage expectations. Pep needs to wise up & be honest & stop taking the piss, it’s a bad look.

1) peps interviews - could see he was reeling and lieing pretending to be happy, so not arsed

2) midfield defence - both are wank. If it wasnt for dias wed have lost 5-0. Walker (like rat face said) gives at least a goal a week away now

3) fuck europe - id have been happier if he played doku and grealish and we actually enjoyed a performance. Not arsed abour juve and we will play wank regardless of the selection

Look at all the new manager (amorim aside) doing amazing by doing fuck all - maresca, slot. Pep needs to fix up and stop with the negative shit.
