Changing the manager is not the solution. The rags were two minutes away from a third straight PL loss until Nunes helped his old mate.

But those two minutes happened. United have won the derby and we've won one of eleven games so why would you not change the manager? If his name wasn't Pep Guardiola there wouldn't even be a question, he'd be gone.

Xavi Hernandez, Xabi Alonso or someone else with a more direct, easy on the eyes style of play. Someone who plays the game like Guardiola did between 2017 and 2022. Wingers to take on their men, strikers to attack the box, defenders to defend. There will always be options out there. Guardiola is not and never was the only show in town. But if you think he is and you've seen something in these last 11 games, or even longer if you include the turgid crap we've played all season then you're entitled to want him to stay.

Pep bought and played Nunes today. It’s on him.
I don't think Pep bought him, nor at least half of the players we've bought since his first couple of years. Sporting director signings aots, nunes especially.

Hahahahaha come on mate

Don’t be silly. The season before we bought him people referred to Nunes as one of the best in the world.

When we lose at Villa there needs to be some serious conversation between Pep and the board.
We need a complete rebuild, that we all agree. But we won’t be able to attract the players for the rebuild if we don’t even get top 4 this season.
So something needs to happen.

Chilled a bit, why the fuck should I ruin my weekend for some bellends who win millions and couldn't care less.
No one in the right mind will sack him. I wouldn't. He has a get out of free card for this season and even the next.
The problem is HE is the problem and also the solution.
Until he gets off his fucking high horse and realize he needs to adapt his game, make some proper manager decisions and accept he did some collosal fuck ups, things will not get better.
That is my fear. His stubborness will ultimately be his demise. The problem is we are chained along the ride.

Won’t help that Lillo is sat there nodding to him and saying “yes”. He needs some cunt to whack him over the head.

I was a fan of Lillo, but bringing him back looks a terrible idea.
I think Maresca had a huge impact in our treble, if you look on how he is doing now. Don't want to make him the second coming, but his first move at Chelsea was getting rid of the dead wood such as Sterling etc., so I think he has some positive influence on Pep.

It could take 2 summers. That's if we do the correct business. But can we be 100% confident that will happen.

Rubbish, he has lots of credit in the bank. knee jerk reactions and comments do not help. We can't win all the games , all the time. Let's be realistic here.
We will see if Pep is a good manager or not if he can turn it around. Before Gündo came back we were cruising. Gündo is busted he is not a midfield general anymore. Sorry but he should be coming on, like Modric at Real, to help close down the last 10 minutes.

Have to respectfully disagree with the credit in the bank. He has won everything and broke literally dozens of records along the way and it was only 6 months ago we won our 4th title in a row
He has earned the right to leave on his terms for me

Agree. It’ll be a few windows that it’ll take to get the right players in.

Yeah I get that, but it feels like nothing is going to change for the results to improve. Also some of the players should be ashamed of their performances

Palmer and Sancho did nothing in the second half. Brentford were unlucky not to come away with a point. Chavs cooking with water.

Both Palmer and Sancho are better than Doku and Savio.
