I know people don’t want to hear it but the way the club has ran our transfers the past few years is laughable and on par with when Fergie left the Rags

I think you're right regarding Ederson, but we'll get our money back on the keeper exchange.

Think we'll go for Diogo Costa, personally.

Edersons head is in Saudi. He probably wishes he was there now.

The thing is, the play out from the back , as a tactic worked very well for us. Claimed to be a Pep introduction ( i won't call it innovation because playing from the back has always been around). However, you have to have the players for it. They have to be precise in their passing.

The other thing is that Ed with his power , to relieve the pressure when playing out from the back , wellies it and hopes Erling can get something on it . Didn't work at all yesterday. Walker is not one to be giving the ball to in a pressure situation, Bernie, Rodri, even gündo can get themselves out of a mess , but not Walker.

Walker's involvement with Hojland makes no sense. The kid had clearly been given instructions to put it about. As we saw with him wrestling Erling to the ground.
Walker threw himself better to the ground than any Roman Centurion could throw Brian to the ground.

Just simply isn't needed in a player, a Captain ffs. Walker needs resting.

A total clear out will and must happen but I do not think anything should be done till the summer till we find out if we have CL football or not... no spending whatsoever in January IMO.

We just need to get rid of the players that have a. Asked to leave (Walker, Ederson, Bernardo) and b. The players that have contracts ending (Kev).

The players that aren’t good enough we can try and get rid of (Nunes and Phillips) but unless Saudi come calling we’ll be stuck with the cunts.

I wouldn't let Kevin go if we don't have Musiala or Wirtz already booked here. Dangerous times ahead, as I said, we would be wide open for the first time since Merlin came. 15 years of two of the best orchestrators I've seen in my life.

Kev was injured most of last season so Foden stepped up. I’d focus on what the fucks wrong with Phil at the moment because if he gets going we’ll be fine. Get Wirtz in to replace Kev.

Wirtz would be great but there was talk yesterday he's extending his contract.

Exactly this. Foden should have developed into our talisman for the next 10 years. He was well on the way last season in terms of performance and even personal accolades (rare for a City player!). It can't just be the shit summer with England, there has to be something else and we need to do whatever we can to get him meeting his potential again.

I did see that. I wonder if that means Alonso is also staying there. Would be a shame for such a talented player not to test himself or just do the usual German thing and go to Bayern.

I read it more that he'll follow Alonso to RM but ensure a top fee for Leverkusen when he goes.

We can't wait for Phil to get his shit together in his private life and entourage. I would want someone to be there if he is fucking around.

I’m being to think this might not be a blip with Foden and is the start of his decline. Can’t say why but I don’t see him being the City superstar I’d hoped and largely expected him to become

Just seen that Barca might not be able to afford to register Dani Olmo for the 2nd half of the season - could he be an option on a half season loan to get bodies in?
