Doesn't matter, he will be shipped out and then we are going to regret it.

We won’t regret it. He isn’t good enough

He wouldn’t get in Madrids side. Or the dippers. That’s our level. Not the Championship

He’ll be sold for £6-8M hopefully with a good sell on as well

Spot on, thats what we should be aiming for, not what will get a game now when we are on our arses, Thats why i dont know why people are calling for Harwood bellis and to a lesser extent Delap. Both are better than no one or playing injured players but in reality are miles off what we need, our last back up striker is a world cup winner and is smashing it at the top of la liga, cant imagine delap ever being at that level. This is the first decent patch of his career id want to see more, that said once we sold alvarez we should have kept him as we have literally no one else(even if his previous loan spells eere massively uninspiring).

The strikers id look at in this window are isak, pedro, gykores or maybe mbeumo as he can play a few different positions. Thats the standard we need, the absolute best from the below the top 4.

Id love to see us take a player from a top 6 team, we did it with walker, sterling off top of my head, why are they now off limits? Odegard would be an amazing signing, try unsettle him, put big money on the table. Time to start throwing our weight around, we are the big boys these days, ferguson used to do it alot at the swamp, stop playing nice unsettle players and force clubs to sell. They hate us, their fans hate us but deep down nearly all players want to play for us and for pep.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20 year old Khusanov of Lens attracting lots of attention including from Newcastle. Very fast and no nonsense defender.

Can’t wait to sell Mcatee ( Sarcasm at 100% )and then watch him flourish like Alvarez and a few more we fucking sold on did.

James McAtee has grown tired of life on the fringes at the Etihad Stadium and wants to leave the club, according to The Telegraph. He has played just two minutes of Premier League football this season, with his only starts coming in the Carabao Cup.

The likes of Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Brentford and Crystal Palace are thought to be keeping a close eye on McAtee's situation, with a bidding war likely to take shape if he is put up for sale.

Other clubs in Europe are said to be weighing up moves of their own, with Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Fiorentina and Bologna believed to be interested.

McAtee is reportedly 'desperate' for more playing time and would favour a move elsewhere in January. He remains tied down until 2026 and is said to be rated highly by Guardiola, but his lack of first-team action would suggest otherwise.

As bad as it is at the moment I'm a glass half full person and this has come at a good time. We have well and truly put to bed any idea that massive investment is not needed. It has hopefully also taught our executives a bit about squad management. Of course 115 is there but I am expecting some big stuff in the market this January and, more significantly, in the close season. Everyone at the club from top to bottom must surely be under no illusions about what is needed. Can't wait.

Don’t get your hopes up next month - who is for sale and at what ridiculous price ?

We should just accept it is what it is and wait till the summer to spend a few hundred million on decent players and not a couple of stop gap players in January.

These so called professionals we have are good enough to get us a CL place and it’s up to pep to fucking ensure they do.

Just checking when Echeverri arrives. Apparently jan 1 he is to be at City. A note on the net also says City are planning to bring Franco Mastantuono from River plate as well. Left footed youngster, looks ok. Anyone know anymore about the latter ( i think we all know about the former) .?

Franco Mastantuono is the very top wonderkid in Football Manager, the video game, if that counts for something.
Everyone wants him.

When i checked on Echeverri's Arrival date yesterday i found an entry on Franco and that City are very interested. So i looked him up. The you tube video referenced above shows some good stuff. I watched it before i posted about him, didn't want to put something out there that wastes peoples time. However, he's a natural left footed player , always good for balance in the side and of course he is playing at the top level already in Argentina. So he might be worth a punt.

I mean , like with the young tin tin, if we get some really top youngsters in then a little trophy drought might be palatable.

Agree with the young blood we do need a revamp to continue the revamp and overhaul the redshite's 20. May have to work with what we have to summer though as Pep has continually shown he won't play the kids

Disagree on this. If he keeps listening and working he could be a big hit here. He was top drawer for Girona. Saw a lot of him last season. At Zuri, there are exceptiins with Pep but they are just that. In the main, he ignores the kids

Give the kid a break, how many players hit the ground running in the first season under Pep??

As you and all of us have advocated before, giving a player, any player a run of games is paramount

He will come good, mate. He has that something special, something you don't see at Doku who didn't explode like we all hoped.
The way he touches the ball. He came from Girona, it's is his first rodeo with a big club at a young age.
I find him similar to Rodrygo. I would rather try him than splash the money on that fella.

Last season he scored a few, but set Dovbyk up many, many times. He'll come good.
