As I read Fabrizio Walker gets a deal from AC Milan till June 2027 but only if they decide to take up the option to buy next Summer. Not sure what the price would be. I think hes got a contract with City till 2026. Wouldnt be surprised if they only agree to a 12 month Loan deal in the Summer. The last season he’d be a free agent.

Suggestions the option to buy in the Summer would cost AC Milan 5 million euros. They’re not taking much risk with this deal. Walker has to deliver.

Wonder why we accepted that? He still has a contract after this summer?
Just terminate his contract, it will be better for both sides. What if Milan does not want him in June and he still has another year here?

He could probably do a job for them as a CB, hopefully they will keep him.
They like a bit of flashing in Milan.

City should buy him. Loan out ? rather not . Get him integrated into the team and squad.

Based on what he said earlier, that the club said to buy in the summer and he said no, I think it is.
I think he is stubborn he thinks he can do it like this.

And I am ready to bet he thinks when Rodri will comes back he will be the same, when the fact is that is a loterry, we have no idea if Rodders will be ever the same after an injury like that.

So, about the squad, 100% is him.
He wanted two cb.

Pep wanted two cbs ? You reckon? Think peps watched loads of these two rookies?

These are the kind of players our scouts read reports on and are for investment, not pep signings?

Reis is literally a Viana signing. It’s been stated their manager called Viana up to discuss him and he was recommended.

I am sure only Pep has the final word on the squad and players. Why would the club pay almost 60 mil for two CB if Pep didn't want them now? It would be mad to pay that much money for "investment", insane.
Same with Rodri. We are there because he doesn't want a replacement for him.
I swear I almost regret Fatty Philips is not here.

Left back issue, another one. That is on him.
He doesn't handle transfers, but 100% no one goes over him with players, because he is that stubborn that he will not play them to prove a point.

No player is the same after a major ACL injury and rebuild. Physically and mentally, they have been weakened

As we have all seen, it is fucking gross negligence not to have a back up plan to Rodders.

We have to think that Rodders may not be the player he was following this injury and we need to address it over the summer as we would seem not to be addressing it in January. I sound like a broken record, but why not give the role to O'Reilly. He can do no worse than the current options and may actually bring some speed and legs to a static midfield

O’Reilly is an attacking midfielder mate. I’d have. Kova there but have O’Reilly in the midfield at the same time to give us some legs.
