Gabriel jeering at Haaland after their first goal. Lewis Skelly doing the Haaland celebration after his goal. Horrible cunts.

Haaland launched a ball at the guys head. He deserves a bit of stick back. If he can’t hack it, don’t give it out.

He replied like a proper man.
Love him. Hope he gets the captain armband soon.

That arse of commentator Conan arse, kept crapping on about how many touches he had had , after six , he scored his 250 goal , faster ever than messi, ronaldo etc.

Thing is Salah gets loads of chances and screws most of them up. Then he also gets to take all the penalties and yep scouse have had their fair share , some dubious like yesterday.

It would be nice if we got the players we actually NEED.
So far poor window.

He should go until he finds himself playing as a left back and then getting permanently benched.

Going to the wire on Nico Gonzalez?

Takes the piss. We’ve wasted nearly £100m on Phillips and Nunes (add Gomez in there and it’s over £100m) and we’re fucking about over £5m!!

I want the deal done but I suppose City have to beware creating an impression that they’re a soft touch. It would affect future transfer deals. Obviously they’re not just arguing about the total but also the phasing plus amount and nature of add ons ie how easy to trigger.

Did City realize this player exist and we need him just a week ago?
That is my problem. They had time to do the dance with Porto, approach them in November, December.

We brought two defenders, almost 60 or 70 mil, they will play fuckall vs Madrid, Scouse etc.
It seems everything we do is very sloppy.

I think this is City’s way. If you remember when we were looking for a CB we were told it’ll be Napoli’s Koulibaly for weeks, only for us to go for Dias at the last minute.

They were sidetracked by chasing Cambiaso it seems. Thought he could do a good midfield job as well as being a quality FB.

Yep, but that also tells a story, that we went after him instead of Dias.

And that is mental.
This constant out of position-multiple position strategy we have stops players for reaching their potential.

I don't know this Gonzalez lad but I do know Wirtz and I'm confused as to why we aren't breaking the bank for him right now.

Pep has always valued very highly a small cohesive squad. Worked well for years. Necessarily that involved some players being used in different positions. We had a couple of players who filled in at left back very successfully for instance. This year this strategy blew up in his face. Partly an unexpected season long injury to our best player. Partly lots of injuries to CBs. Partly a failure in last Summers transfer window. Pep has sort of owned up to the latter.

I think he is on the summer shopping list along with a keeper.
Gonzalez seems to be a second choice at best which fills me with Nunes and Phillips like dread
