Nearly 200 million spent on players that , we were told , we needed now and right now.

Then he doesn’t play them PMSL

He cannot manage us for shit this season - he’s lost it IMO.
He needs a break from football and we need to rebuild with another manager as we won’t get CL next year , not the way pep is managing us - I just cannot see it.

Agree, but how do you tell him that?
Is not like when you sack Dyche. He’s won it all, dominated football in England.

We gave Hughes 1.5 years and he wasn’t brought by our board.

I think we are trapped in a revolving door. Pep needs help, but is too stubborn and we are too sentimental.
I wouldn’t want to be Khaldoon now.

Never easy accepting that a relationship is over. Great while it lasted but it's run its course. Khaldoun has the balls to tell him. Not easy, his wife just said the same thing. Sign off, put your feet up, play golf. Stay friends

The problem is, he can do whatever he wants and knows he won't get the sack, no accountability. I'm forever grateful for his achievements but that's for the history books. There is losing and there is being utter shite. There is no excuses for being atrocious. If he doesn't finish top 4, he needs to go, no debate.

I am all for that.
I just feel he is not thinking straight.
Like Indiana mentioned, feels like a relationship and I think he is trying to save it, but it is close to being done.

Here we are again, same old. Told myself I wouldn't get caught up in this and to write this season after off as Pep showed no signs of changing his system. We then spent heavily and it was back on, we had options. Let's all accept that we are going to see the same 2-3 goal defeats as pep fiddles and we burn. Cannot bring myself to say more it's all been said. Missing chumps league will kill Pep, he has to know this. The club will have also learnt during this spell and will rectify it come the end of season review

When does the club learn and rectify?

Buying a soft arse second choice on deadline day and some kids?

Absolute idiots didnt learn from rodri suspension and then sold alvarez

I think selling Alvarez was a business decision not a footballing one. 90 mill profit is not to be sniffed at.

All our recent success, sadly means we now face the prospect of slow painful long goodbye with Pep. Going to be damaging for us and him

we all know our domination cycle under Pep is over. We face a major re-build, a change in style to adapt to Teams who have figured out our game. He isn't going to be at the Club longer than another 24 months max.

Reality is it would be best for all parties to shake Hands move on. Build a Statue to the greatest manager we have ever had. Rather than tarnish his legacy to such an extent he will have to be usurped and replaced.

Personally i think he looks lost mentally has already checked out in his Head. Simply going through the motions to the detriment of City and him.

We could do with sending him on sick leave for 3 Months, give him time to evaluate where he is at in his personal life.

Two big IFs, getting chumps league and the summer transfer window. We will have to get our business sorted early due to club world cup circus. No chumps league and we shake Pep's hand. Would we trust him with a rebuild if he does not adapt tactics I'd say was a no. Calibre of incomings without chumps league would be a factor. Expect us to go back to Juve for Cambiaso, get in a no.1 keeper and a midfield playmaker. All that said, who would replace him

I would rather see us relegated and bankrupt by the 115 charges than see that cunt here.

Same. That said, it’s not our job to find Pep’s successor and there’s definitely managers out there - Slot has come in and been better than Klopp was last season.

Definitely about what the manager can do with the resources available. Slot inherited what could be said was a finished article. After years of Pep, our squad can only play one way is my point. No doubt we have a succession plan be interesting to see if we go there in the summer

There’s been talk of this Girona manager stepping in. I think we’ll probably keep an eye on how Vinnie does at Bayern. Alonso? We may have teamed up the rag manager back with Viana but that’s out the window (thankfully).

What good is alvarez profit if we are 5th and bummes out of europe? We had 100.mill for rice (which we failed to land as per)

Ok maybe he wantes to go, wheres the top 3 targets in every position we supposedly have in case?

Not sure where Rice fits in to this, he is definitely not the answer as arsenal will testify to. Alvarez deal suited all, you could argue we should have replaced him but we did have Bobb until the injury andwe now have Marmoush for half the cost. No doubting that we dropped a bollock in the summer not recruiting but it's a lesson learnt and you'd hipe not to be repeated.

Bobb who is a winger who had a good pre season and marmoush who looks.. raw.

And we had half a seasob with nobosy

Rice was proof we have 95 mill spare for a rodri backup/partner ans that we arent skint.

Pep has learnt nothing this season , still trying to play the same way as years gone by and other teams know exactly how to play against us.Some teams need to be having an off day for us to fucking win !

I do not relish watching this ‘seasons Pep ‘managing us next season (even if we do not qualify for the CL I think he will still be here ) he has stagnated and will never change ( he said as much in interviews )

We have all gone though cold turkey watching the shit he’s dished up this season - it’s been embarrassing more often than not - cannot go through another season like it.
