Back in the land of the living

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Back in the land of the living

Postby Harry Dowd scored » Tue Feb 18, 2025 12:43 pm

I was cooking the Sunday tea listening to the rag game, next thing I knew I was wakening in Altnagalvin hospital. Just been discharged, apparently low blood pressure & low heart rate the cause.
So happy to be here or has George Best once said, happy to be anywhere.

Hope you get it sorted mate - make the necessary changes and stick to them.

Take care, pal. Stay healthy, if City64 comes back he needs to call you again an armchain irish bastard.

Piss aside, keep yourself safe.

I have been on medication for high blood pressure for a few years now. The consultant said I should not be taking it anymore because it has lowered blood pressure & heart rate to dangerous level. The collapse was due to low heart rate so if I stop medication it will resolve it. Hopefully that’s the case.
Big thanks to all of you guys for the concerns

Glad everything's ok. It's a bit of a shock when it happens, I had a similar thing a few years back, but no recurrences. Take care.

Listen to the guys in the white coats my friend. And if you have to change a lifestyle then so be it. It’s still life.

Take care pal and don’t let the sight of Gundogan in midfield get you riled up!!

All the best mate.

The blasé, invincible attitude we all had when young, doesn't seem to work so much now!

Keep well

Take the positive, you no longer have high BP and won't rattle so much and can get angry about footie if so inclined.
