Our arses were handed to us in Paris. Madrid have given Vianna the opportunity to sit down and get real, we need even more spending if we are going to get it right.

We´ve experienced a lot worse things than losing in Madrid albeit the manner was unaccepteble. No fight.

Didn’t bother as I knew what would happen once I saw the team.

So glad we’re out of this comp, these games against Real were a complete waste of time.

Gundo and Bern - if every single fan can see that their legs have gone, then why can’t Pep? Ridiculous to play them both. Bern is only 30 by the way - I think with him it’s more that he’s just not arsed anymore, having asked to leave every summer for the past three years.

Stones as reliable as my arse after a curry.

Get top 4 and a decent run in the Cup and actually get players in during the summer. The three new lads giving it all heart are showing the rest of them up. We need more like them.

I'd get rid of,

Gundo
Bern
Nunes
KDB
Stones - great player but unreliable
Ederson can go if he doesn't want to be here.
Grealish - hasn't worked out under Pep

Akanji should not be near the first 11, just cover at best.

First signing should be Wirtz, I don't care how much he will cost, just get him in at any price. Combiasso for his versatility? Another up and coming midfielder, a job for City's scouts?

Next season - no more fucking experiments with back 4, he should do it this season if he must ready for next season. We won't win fuckall if he keeps tinkering with back 4 every single game.

Didn't watch it and did not even look for the score until I got up which is a sad state of affairs. To your point Hazy, it now has to start at the top with Pep. Love him for what he's done but he's a one trick pony who shows no sign of adapting to new ideas and systems. I don't want the club to give him hundreds of millions only for him to set us up in the only way he knows. Its been a perfect storm with Rodders out, an ageing squad who have just set a PL record that will take some beating but let's not do a long goodbye. Get someone lined up-the question remains who?

Didnt see the match but for once the negative match comments seem spot on. Above is one travelling fan’s reaction.

Nick wrote:Fair but the stick pep gets with having "the best" look at carlo!

Goes from two best midfielders in the world kroos and modric (who we battered) PLUS all of the drcisions to mbappe and bellend

Also we should have at LEAST 2, possivly 3

Id say carlo has under achieved from those stats..

Pep spent 2 billion in his career
Carlo spent 1.8 billion in his career

Carlo won it 5 times against Pep’s 3. Possibly 6 if he wins this season.

When we smashed them, Kroos and Modric were an aging force.

I could argue Pep had Messi in his prime along with Nesta Bosq and Xavi

Could Carlo emulate Pep' success in the premier league? No, I don't believe so

Carlo has a superior pedigree in the chimps league than Pep, that's just a fact.

I'm sure many will argue other factors to their success and their playing styles.

At end of the day I would rather have Carlo over Pep in champions league and Pep over Carlo in the premier league

Why take Haaland should have left him in Manchester instead of 2 days of travel

He didn’t even warm up. I suppose he hoped against hope an extra day would enable to participate. Pretty desperate.

Kevin was different. Depending on the match he might well have come on in the second half. After 45 minutes the tie was over and it made sense to keep him as fresh as possible for Sunday.

The match was never going to be different with the players he set up with. Total waste of time for Kev being there.

I don’t think we have the squad to match Madrid in the Bernabeu. No right back so we play Khusanov there and lose his pace through the middle. Needed a double pivot and I would have preferred Stones in midfield but there again he was injured so quickly. We need an RB Rodri back and one more top midfielder to replace Kevin. Then we’ll be a much better side.

The lack of effort last night was shocking.

Didn't help the Manager told them they had 1% chance before kick off.

I am still not sure what that system was either Pep was playing. It was horrible. Still he persists with Gundogan, and Bernie in the Middle. Subbed Gundogan likely not to ease our agony but save him for Sunday.

First time Pep has not qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.

First time we have not made the last 16 since Mancini was with us 12 years ago.

I expect us to be beaten by 3,4, goals on Sunday.

Feels like something is seriously wrong in that dressing room. This is more than losing Rodri for a season.

Spot on.

Madrid seem to have got their rebuild spot on and they’ve not wasted anytime. Also looks like PSG have got it absolutely spot on as well.

We need to act fast this summer, because we’re already behind on the rebuild now.

But what a bunch of fucking cunts Madrid are.
If somebody deserves abuse from the stands of any kind, then those cunts are top of the top.

Mbappe scores and celebrates by mocking Gvardiol. Celebrates by mocking a professional footballer that is making a living, same as him. This is not a lower league game, but a European Classic.

Pep said Haaland’s scans were fine but he had some discomfort for instance going up stairs and didnt feel he could play. Doesn’t sound great for Sunday. I doubt he’ll be out for long though.

If our owners are still as hungry, and the court case suggests we are, sentiment should be cast aside. Pep are you and Vianna on the same page, if not, it’s time. If yes, then wield the axe and bring in Wirtz, and 3 centre half’s. Fullbacks Plus whatever it takes. As last night like Paris we’re all you need to know. Whose to bring in that’s above our pay grade hahaha.
