I can't quite see how sacking 200 people is going to put them into profit, especially as they'll no doubt be spunking a few hundred million sacking Amorim and getting a new messiah in place later this season.

I read that yesterday and thought the same. Strange message to give out almost as if it was the non-playiing side that is causing the year on year losses. Keep giving out the good news Omar, you must be thinking that your move wasn't what you'd thought it would be eh?

Apparently they had 1140 staff last June. And if they can lose some 450 of them it begs the question of what did they actually do?
Knocking the free lunch on the head will save £1m a year. Or three weeks of Casemiro or Rashford. Four weeks of Maguure or Antony.
These cost cutting measures are the equivalent of a regular family struggling to pay the bills and taking a jar of coppers to the bank

Agreed. You have to wonder who is coming up with these bright ideas its turning into a PR farce. One week its the ticket prices are being hiked to avoid PSR breaches, now its cost cutting to avoud further losses and 'saving' some £ for infrastructure improvement all whilst the playing side continue to delight us all on the pitch. Could be serious problems if Ipswich turn them over followed by Fulham there's VAR back for that one

On another note. It’s mass redundancies. 450 people out of work in the biggest growing city in the UK.

I imagine Barca probably assumed the same.... if they're a sinking ship they'll probably lose a lot of their sychophants pretty sharpish.

I can't get my head around ffp or psr it gives me a migraine everytime I try and read about it. Is it just my lack of understanding and knowledge or do the pl keep moving the goal post every 2 months. Everton Forest Leicester and Newcastle have had to bend over surely the Rags can't keep getting away with it as it's corruption in plain sight.
