Why do the journos at the pressers never ask Pep why the players didn’t put any effort into the game ?
What his explanation is or anything of that nature. That would be the first question that I would ask because it’s the most obvious reason why we lost.

Thanks your right. The thought of being rinsed by this lot is not something I want, worse still we tend to have a few of them somehow in CB level 2.

I have one question

He stays, he buys who he wants and the next season start and we play the same with the same results?
What happens then?

All managerial targets that are decent will not come without a full summer with the squad and already started their season.

So, what happens then?

If he doesn’t qualify for the CL then he should walk or be sacked

No ifs and buts - Gone.

I think he wants out tbh.

I knew last season with the long drawn out saga of "Is he staying or isn't he" we should have let him go on a high.

Now we face a damaging 2 season prolonged long good Bye, whilst he erodes away his lasting legacy week in week out. Until the hard core fan base eventually turn on him. Wont be long until the Boos start, football fans are fickle characters normally. He is lucky the Boos haven't started yet with the turgid shit he has put out this season.

I don't think he should oversee an expensive rebuild, it is way too risky. We have to think about our future. We could end up in the wilderness for 10 years if we get it wrong. Makes absolutely no sense giving a manager a huge budget based on the fact he will be gone the end of next season. Leaving nothing for the new Guy.

We don't finish Top 4 we should give him nothing to spend, force him to walk.

Next season without Champions League play a few of our Kids and wait for him to fuck off and play Golf voluntarily.

For me Pep has been the best thing that has ever happened to our club . But the time has come for a complete re build and sadly I don't think Pep is the man to do that . He may prove me wrong and I hope he does but I cant see it. who will replace him ? I don't know.

Pep said at the presser that he recognised his team in the last two league games. Wow!! Against Newcastle we were fast and incisive, pressed hard and defended well. Today we were toothless, we may have got to the byeline on many occasions but never threatened from those positions. Today's game and Pep's reaction are just further proof that he doesn't see the problems, if he can't see them he can't fix them. It's been a pleasure Pep but sadly it's time to go. Change of style badly needed and that isn't coming from Pep, we need to be quick and exciting once more.

He has got nothing left in the tank as far as tactics go - he’s playing the same shit week after week.

He’s done IMO and I think it’s time we have the conversation on bringing someone new, someone that will adapt to the way the opposition play
Pep’s football has been boring shit for more than I can remember - he’s clinging onto past seasons performances (same as some fans on here ) and we are getting nowhere with his style of football —

I'm starting to think it's time. No plan B, the football is iffy, his selections and substitutions are often poor and the team don't seem inspired.

Vinnie, anyone?

The pass, pass Tika fucking taka or whatever the fuck is dead, the successful progressive teams in Europe are using powerful athletic attacking players with a more direct style, don’t think Pep can adjust, think Carl is correct, time for a rethink in the summer,

I’m not enjoying watching us at all and if I can I’ll miss the game. That’s where I’m at personally. I’ve not been like this since Pearce.

It’s not about winning or losing - I’m just not enjoying watching us and our tactics.

The football tight now is soul destroying.

Slow ,boring ,insipid shite.

It is like being forced to watch that advert for walking football for 90 + minutes.

It really is hard to watch it is that bad,

I am starting to think it is to blame for why we look so unfit. Players are told to just walk around and Pass pass pass keep up the possession Stats.

I don't want another season of this insipid shite, "Tiki Taka" is done.

We need a different style.

Also Pep looks like he no longer gives a fuck, and it feels like it is running through the team and backroom staff.

Well, he did win a load of trophies with his style and before other teams cottoned on we were almost unplayable, but they’ve got our number now, that’s been apparent since early season and no plan b seems to be forthcoming which is a real worry, I kind of want him to stay and turn it round just to flinch the v’s at the media. On the other hand it clear that something fresh needs to happen.
